Americans, do you still buy equipment from Aliexpress?

So I got screwed by Aliexpress. Again....
I ordered 3 items and only 2 showed up in the package. It was supposedly sent but when I opened the package one was missing. So after I opened a refund request they sent a huge list of ridiculous requirements. Here it is listed:

To better support your request, please provide the following evidence:
1. Postal service proof/logistics documentation confirming abnormalities with the package. The document must include the following details:
• Package tracking number: the tracking number should match the one provided by the seller.
• Logistics status: The content on the document must reflect the issue with your package, such as descriptions of missing items, damage, etc.
• Source of the document: The email address should originate from the logistics company.
2. A complete unboxing video showing that the problem existed before receipt. The video must include:
• Clear and visible package labels.
• A full view of the intact, unopened package.
• When there are two layers of labels, the bottom label underneath must be shown after removing the top layer.
3. Seller has acknowledged the inaccuracy or commited a refund.

How am I supposed to prove a negative? If it's missing how can I prove something that's not there? Why would I record a video showing it was missing if I didn't know it was missing BEFORE I opened the package??? Also the USPS is not going to have documentation showing "abnormalities" with the package if it looked like it was intact during shipment. They would have no idea there was a missing item.

So they set up unobtainable and unrealistic rules so it's impossible to get any type of compensation. This is the last time I order multiple items from them. I'm only going to order TT equipment that I can't find anywhere else and only one item at a time so they're not combined into shipments.

yes, name the seller
It's called CREATEPRO. I ordered two other items from different stores and they were received. I'm guessing whoever packed the package didn't include the order from CREATEPRO and sent it incomplete. I doubt it was the fault of the store since they were probably not the consolidator. My main complaint is that Aliexpress doesn't have checks and balances to make sure orders are complete before sending and their return process is so ridiculously complicated. It makes it almost impossible to prove an item was missing. They are essentially telling the buyer to prove a negative.

It is fault of store. Store is packing your order. I never seen this store before. You should go with popular stores with good feedbacks like Chinese table tennis or global table tennis ..

How can it be the fault of the store? There are 3 stores that I bought from. So each store adds an item to the package and passes it on? I forgot to add that both items were packed into one shipment bag. So it was received at the same time. Which leads me to believe the order was consolidated before shipping.

Even if someone forgot to put all 3 in same bag it would come separate. You might still will receive it. Otherwise store should give you refund

I guess from now on film yourself opening your ali packages. I've had it from my suppliers...swearing something was counted that was missing

The store won't give any refund because I don't have an unboxing video. I cannot satisfy their requirements because I didn't know something was missing until I opened it. That's the whole point of my complaint.

I'm not going to video myself opening every single package. That's just ridiculous.

It's certainly an important issue you've brought up because I've had orders combined and never thought I would have to document unboxing every time in the event of a missing item.

I have enough TT stuff from Ali for the time being. Doesn't inspire a lot of confidence in them.
