Let's milk this cow (again) but this time from Joola. Quite strange that there are some new rubbers coming from Joola using Hugo's name, as we can see in LARC. New Joola's Trinity series rubbers, marked as Charged and Dynamic with Hugo Boss Calderano signatures:

I bet that they will be some "hybrid" rubbers, following the new trends that all companies follow at this time.

The rubber should be registered in ITTF to be played by Hugo. Nothing strange here, IMHO
He means it’s strange by the fact that Joola is making a new rubber series that have Hugo’s name on it. As far as I know, no other company named their rubbers after a player unless you count Kenta Matsudaira

Nittaku once had a rubber by the name J.O. Waldner. I still have the rubber package somewhere.

Donic also had a rubber series by the name Coppa JO Gold/Silver/Platin.

Hugo had an awesome year and he probably had offers from every major brand. He is awesome to watch and he represents an untapped market in the Americas. I bet Joola spent their whole table tennis budget on him and are looking to get their money’s worth. Butterfly would take 3 years to get his name on a blade. DHS would stamp a new number on an old 968. I’m sure it helped Hugo’s decision that Joola was ready to go with a variety of products. It represents their investment in him.

I guess it will not be the new „best in class“ rubber Series of Joola, but rather rubbers for premade bats
Why would you think the rubber that Calderano just used in Doha would be for premade bats? :)

Did he use both rubbers? 1 for FH the other for BH? Or another Joola rubber?

It looks like the new. ‘HC’ endorsed rubbers were likely to have been in development for a while regardless of whether he joined Joola. I don’t know how long it takes to get a product from concept, to a product ready for sale to the public? But to add a signature is likely to be much quicker!!

Thank you for sharing, I know Joola wants to compete with top tier rubbers, but IMHO they do it a bit wrong with this pricing ($75)
The price is high but I understand what Joola is trying to do, to me these are indeed newer and "higher tech" rubbers than Joolas previous cutting-edge releases like Inferno and ZGX so they should be priced accordingly. From my most local general supplier, Trinity is priced in the same range as rubbers like Nuzn 50/55, K3, Dragon Power/DNA Hybrid, Bluestar A1 and I think Trinity (at least the Dynamic) is priced pretty fairly when stacked up against these rubbers at this pricing tier.
