Hi everyone, this year on October 18-21 I will be playing in the WTT Youth Contender in Fort Lauderdale. I am going to go with my friend that I practice with at my club. I am going to play in 2 events most likely the U15 boys and the U17 boys. I will possibly play the U19 boys as well. I am very exited because this will be my first ever WTT tournament and I will get to have my first world ranking so I can start climbing the ranks towards my goal! I am trying to come up with a goal for around what level I want to hit going into the tournament. I was thinking around 2200. My current rating is 1915 and I am starting to regularly beat 2000-2100 level players, this will be very challenging but with good coaching, and the many hours that I train espessially in the summer where I train 7 hours a day 6 days a week, I think I can reach this goal. I would like some oppinions on what I should set my goal for before the tournament. Thanks.

Be careful of plugging your social media links in every post you make here or you may lose your audience fast. What is the reason you ask about what level to aim to be before the tournament - are you trying to win medals in those events? Just hold your own against the competition?
