Hi I want to get a slightly faster thicker inner carbon.

a bit more speed than Yasaka Ma Lin Carbon

Falck carbon is horrible and not what i was expecting at all

I don't like Nittaku handles so no Nittaku

I very briefly tried a friends Butterfly Innerforce Layer ALC (new one) the other day and though it wa beautiful for looping although it was a knock.

What do people think about Innerforce Layer ALC bear in mind I'm going to be using short pimples on bh

I don't want 7 ply wood recommendations!!

What do all the Innerforce Layer Peeps have to say please?

Any blade from the "inner alc" circle from the second link would be slightly faster than ymlc while still retaining the "deep hold" properly. They'd feel a big harder than ymlc though.

I play IFL ALC and have a Donic Waldner Senso Carbon which is supposed to be the same as Ma Lin Carbon. I trimmed it from a Cpen so the headsize is normal.
Comparing these, I would say the IFL ALC is *significantly* stiffer. The DWSC feels closer to my Appelgren Allplay than it does to the IFL.
However... I think it works on this particular blade, and after a solid transition period (even coming from Korbel) I can say it is a great spinner's blade. And, to be perfectly honest, I don't know what would be a good blade between the IFL ALC and the Ma Lin Carbon.

A bit harder might actually improve the pips on bh!
There are a couple of inner carbon blades from Stiga with Koto outer. They will be harder than the Innerforce ALC that has Limba outer. They are also a bit faster.

- Cybershape Carbon (Truls blade)
- Inspira CCF (Pretty much same blade as the Cybershape Carbon, but cheaper and round head shape)
- Aura Hybrid Carbon

Waldner Senso Carbon same as Ma Lin Soft Carbon. Ma Lin Carbon different
Nope, Soft Carbon has a different top layer. It's confusing, because both Yasakas use fleece carbon but only one is called "Soft Carbon".
WSC: Limba
MLC: Limba
MLSC: Anegre or Akazie depending on who you ask.

I just cant control it, it feels a bit flat and direct to me but also quite reactive. I am sure it would be fine for most players
Ok!
Just wondering cause I like the Yasaka handles and been eyeing the Falck Carbon.

I think the IF ALC would be about the same though? Similar thickness and composition.

https://ttgearlab.com/2024/03/15/performance-indices-db-inner-fiber-blades/ some ideas here.
Look for similar values for Ec/Ep and Vl/Vp as Ma lin Carbon (0.87 and 1.06) that will supposedly give you the same feeling as Ma Lin carbon. And some faster speed (Ep and Ec). For instance Xiom 36.5 ALXi or Tibhar Fortino Performance or Nittaku Hina Hayata H2 or DHS Hurricane 301 and so on.
