Singapore Smash Para Showcase-2026
The
Singapore Smash Para Showcase was launched during Singapore Smash 2024, marking an expansion of the table tennis programme for fans and athletes in the Lion City.
The Para Showcase tournament at Singapore Smash-2026 features Men’s and Women’s Singles events across various sport classes determined ahead of each edition. Athletes compete for a share of the USD 29,500 prize money. The opportunity to perform at a WTT Grand Smash event inside the iconic Infinity ∞ Arena attracts leading stars of Paralympic table tennis.
The competition begins with a group stage, where players start their journey towards the knockout rounds. In 2026, 11 athletes compete in the Men’s Singles and 8 in the Women’s Singles. The level of competition is fierce, with only the very best advancing to the final to become the new Singapore Smash Para Showcase champions.
Singapore Youth Smash-2026
World Table Tennis (WTT) introduced a new youth tournament category with the launch of the WTT Youth Grand Smash in 2025 at
Singapore Youth Smash-2025. This category represents the pinnacle of youth table tennis, featuring Singles events for Under-15 and Under-19 boys and girls. Each tournament brings together 32 of the world’s top young talents competing for ITTF Table Tennis World Ranking points and a share of the USD 20,000 prize money — the largest in youth table tennis.
Building on the success of WTT Youth Star Contender Singapore 2024, WTT Youth Grand Smash events are integrated into the WTT Grand Smash calendar wherever possible. This allows young athletes to compete alongside the world’s elite, gaining invaluable experience and inspiring the next generation of players.
Beyond offering a top-tier competitive platform, the WTT Youth Grand Smash also serves as a testing ground for innovative competition systems and other elements that may shape the future of WTT. The introduction of these events is part of a broader restructuring of the WTT Youth Series aimed at maximising engagement and opportunities for young players.
“WTT Youth Grand Smash is a bold step forward in our mission to nurture the future stars of table tennis,” said WTT CEO Steve Dainton. “These events provide young players with a unique platform to showcase their talent on the world stage and inspire the next generation to grow the sport.”
