Hey i've been playing with dignics 05 for a while, and i was wondering if glayzer would maybe be an alternative, i like dignics grip, and ''click'' feeling. So if anyone could answer the following questions i would appreciate.
1 - Does the grip is similar? (does glayzer has the click feeling?)
2 - The spin is similar?
3 - Weight difference?

Glayzer is a very good rubber but it is not a Dignics rubber - if you think that Dignics is giving you control issues on passive shots, Glayzer might be a reasonable alternative. If you win a lot of points on spin production, the drop in what you get with Glayzer might make you have to play more shots. That's the main caution I would have for someone contemplating a switch.

Thanks, i was thinking in a rubber with a safer arc than dignics, but with similar feeling and weight. Based on what you say i think glayzer isn't the answer.

glayzer is a very nice rubber. the grip feels like dignics, glayzer topsheet is very good at catching the ball

the main difference is the sponge, glayzer feels alot slower, alot less dynamics, less powerful than dignics. however, glayzer is also easier to play, safe in the short game and passive play, not bouncy at all

for amateurs, I think it is a great alternative. for example, esn rubbers feel completely different to dignics when striking the ball. with glayzer, the shot feeling with the spring sponge is quite similar to dignics

It is all those things, but the ball will not cause errors from your opponent just as you won't make many errors. Again this is for someone like myself who relies heavily on the spin from the rubber at my swing speeds. If you are not as dependent on spin to win points, it might not matter.

I've played with the two rubbers on different sides of the same paddle (actually two different blades) for some time.
My experience is that D05 and Glayzer are very, very similar. If I did a bild test I would have a really hard time to say which one is which when playing most shots. They also have very similiar (if not the same?) top sheet and same sort of sponge with very little difference in hardness. The data suggest that they SHOULD be very similar.
The only real difference is (the price and) when striking hard - D05 is faster. The ball flies longer. This means that it is slightly easier to open up with Glayzer and to land balls on the table in the open game. The downside is that killing shots might not be killing. Pretty much what Butterfly are saying I guess....

I agree with this after having tried both D05 and Glayzer (normal and 09c, 09c is different though) quite a lot.

Glayzer is a special rubber for me. I started off as a pure beginner with Glayzer on the 5 ply Falcima, learning basic strokes. And now, on the Ovtcharov Innerforce ALC, I pull sick topspins and pretty quick drives with the Glayzer. I am looking for an upgrade since Ive been using this rubber forever now (went through 3 sheets), but honestly, I still love it, for FH or BH.

I've tried the Tenergy05 and Dignics05 for a while, but found that I lost confidence in the short and push game especially during important matches.

To me the Glayzer is a do-everything rubber. True, there is no free power like on the T05 or D05. To use Glayzer well, you should have some athleticism to brush the ball with a full stroke or commit your body into the drive, then this rubber can do everything. It feels just like a less powerful Dignics05, but has more dwell time and control. Best of all, you can even boost it and it'll feel a little like the Dignics05 (somewhat).

I also tried the Glayzer09C for a while. To me it is too slow for my liking. It's spin is better, but at the level of my usual sparring partners or matches, spinny balls that aren't too fast isn't much of a challenge anymore. The G09C just isn't dangerous enough.
