The reverse is hard to control tor a returner especially if the server can use a toss angle that is less vertical. But I think he is just struggling with Franziska"s backhand.

In my opinion one of Calderano's problems is that he is not playing competitive matches between tournaments, as far as I know, he is not competing in any league this season. To stay at the top level and in good form, you need constant high level and pressure match play

He is joining Saarbrücken next season and will be playing TTBL again. If I was Ochsenhausen's boss I would be fucking pissed at Hugo. Leaves them to focus on WTT/ITTF and not even nine months later announces his return for a different club.

Yea I agree. I wasn’t expecting Hugo to be back in league so soon. Thought he may come back after a couple of seasons. Boss will definitely be pissed no doubt.

Idk Patrick has played exceptionally this whole tournament, it's an outlier for Harimoto so I think it's hard to judge

Mima Ito is not evolving at all. It is so obvious what WYD or any other such high level pro player needs to do to beat Mima ITO. In past it used to be a nail biting/tough matches, but now it’s almost predictable Having a proper coach during these matches would also help her I think. But she doesn’t do that also. while other players are evolving and far more interesting to watch, she seems to have hit her ceiling

And Jang Woojin hasn't? I am not saying Sora has surpassed Harimoto, I am just pointing out that if the loss of Sora to Jang made that moot, the loss of Harimoto to Franziska makes the conversation worth having again only because of the original standard. Sora is up amd coming so it is harder to to know what is reliable or unreliable about him. Harimoto is more reliable but also has more losses to players on the CNT he absolutely should not be losing to at his level.
