Buttefly shoes are really grippy but in my opinion the durability is questionable. I have a pair of Lezoline Nine that lasted one year. Sole wore too fast in the beginning but then stabilized but the upper already broke in some places. I had a cheaper pair of yasaka jet impact shoes and were as good (if not better) as butterfly durability wise.

Ive recently bought Mizuno Wave Medal 7 and the upper and sole are much sturdier albeit also light and flexible.

I've been looking forward to buying a pair of table tennis shoes for some time now because the ones im wearing right now are really worn out.
What do you recommend for a budget of 60-80 euros? And is it really worth spending a lot for the butterfly shoes, honestly?
Almost anything from Asics or Mizuno is good.
Check the online outlet stores for what's on sale in your size.
It's usually free returns as well if you decide they're not comfortable after trying them on.
60-80 euros should get you something good.
I got the Asics Gel Rocket 12 on sale for €50 a few months back and I find them as good as my Mizuno Wave 8s that cost twice as much.
I haven't tried the Butterfly shoes but a club mate has a pair and loves them.

Li Ning (DHS) do have some older models on sale https://lining-sport.eu/tischtennis/tischtennisschuhe/?order=sort_akt&p=1
Sanwei/Speed Art seem to be good https://sanweisport.com/en/product-category/accessories/table-tennis-shoes/ and https://www.tabletennisdaily.com/forum/topics/review-sanwei-fireflash-table-tennis-shoes.37231/
If one needs very grippy shoes -> Andro Cross Step 2 and Shuffe Step 2 (Shuffle are light but less sturdy ymmv)
Asics Gel-Rocket and Upcourt are used quite often over here and usually somewhere on sale.
If possible try them before buying. A perfectly fitting shoe is for me as important as a perfectly fitting blade handle.
