Yes. He has been for a while now you can see it on Butterfly Global. He also switched to Zyre on backhand as part of the change.

Has any other JNT member beaten WMY in recent years? I only recall Han Ying then Batra at Saudi Smash, followed by Ito at Swedish Open 2019.

WMY's form seemed off though. Many points ended after Odo took one or two swipes at the ball.

A 39-win streak against JNT players in the last 6 years and some of the wins such as those over Ito and Hayata were achieved while being injured. Even for those wins against Harimoto and Nagasaki where she was trailing, WMY made the comeback because she didn't give up. Therefore, this one is like her 0-3 loss against DHK right after WTTC 2021.

枸杞快跑 去年重庆冠军赛受伤了，就影响了世界杯的发挥，，，后面还有世界杯世锦赛，所以怕受伤，放了，，而且左手带了个东西，，估计身体不能拼的状态，，加上大藤没进入团体世乒赛名单，，暂时没威胁

(She got injured at the Chongqing Champions last year, which affected her performance at the World Cup. With the World Cup and WTTC still to come, she was worried about getting injured again and had to let loose. Also, she was wearing something on her left hand, so her body probably couldn't handle the pressure. Plus, Odo isn't on the WTTC roster, so she's not a threat for now)

Odo is the first JNT player after Ito in Swedish Open 2019. Many Tieba users have been accusing WTT/CTTA for fixing the draw for years now, where Harimoto keeps getting drawn to WMY's half rather than SYS's, and some say this is WMY's silent protest or her just getting a much needed rest, unlike those who have taken time off since XTWC 2025.

HY at WTT CS Doha 2026. Batra at KSA GS 2024 was the one before.

As for LA28, I'm still of the opinion that KM could be the WS candidate over WMY, which was also held by a Tieba user right after WMY's forfeit due to injury at WTT CS Chongqing 2025.
