This is also probably the closest that the Harimoto siblings have chances to win two championships.
Odo is not playing for runner-up, that's for sure. And Ruibo Wen can beat anyone if he is prepped properly.

Hugo still has a Felix problem
I don't know about that, you dont lose that kind of match and call it a problem as much as a tough day at work. That could easily have been different.

Tieba users commented that WRB is good against European players, and no good against asian players. Tieba users are sweating for Harimoto tonight.

Wow these matches were incredible, they reached unbelievable levels in these quarterfinals.
Sora Matsushima is unbelievable, I think he is the only one who has (more than) a chance with Wang Chuqin, and he played out of this world. LYJ and Harimoto, Felix and Hugo, these matches were an absolute treat, I wish I could see them live, I have seen and occasionally played with some low- medium level pros, but this is on another planet.
Controversial statement: the packed calendar makes the top opponents more familiar with each other and actually gifts us with real battles, so it is actually in favor of making the sport more spectacular and wow what a treat to see these players battle it out every month or so.

If Sora can beat the Felix slayer, does he have a big chance against Felix then? Last few times they played it was close but it was before Sora broke into the top 10.
He does have a 50/50 chance, but not because of beating the Felix slayer (ie Wang Chuqin), since you can’t compare a third ball attacker with a close to the table attacker.

But from Sora’s performance, it’s evident that Felix’s forehand is going to be a weakness. If you saw Sora playing Wang Chuqin, he won most backhand exchanges (which is Felix’s forehand side), and could take some hits from Wang’s forehand.

As much as I like Felix, he will struggle unless he finishes the points within five balls.

WCQ fangirls still trying to influence the results - so sad...
That corner of the TT world is so sad. It's at a point where the haters and stans are almost equally insufferable though, but the sheer number of big head fans still win out. The most crazed FZD fans aren't any better.

This Felix Sora match though, what a banger.
