Ive picked up table tennis again after a long hiatus. I really enjoy it so far, but im playing with a old setup consisting of tibhar aurus on fh and bh on a joola ticker blade. I like this setup, but im looking for a new setup from the summer on. My playing style is a bit far from the table, attacking with spinny loops but i also like playing the defence game right at the table. What are a few good setups that dont break the bank? ( Max 100-140 euro total). Rn im training 1-2 times a week, but after the summer it will be 2-3 times with competition matches every week.

Ive found a combo of xiom vega Europe/x on fh and vega Europe on bh on a sanwei vextra / stiga allround classic blade. Is this setup any good? Or is it better to keep my current blade and just put new rubbers on?

what dou you mean by defense at the table, so just blocking?
A good set up is one that you like and feels good for you. Vega Europe is a good rubber, if you like it stick with it.
I tend to chop and flip right at the table, so i need control for that ( my technique is good but not perfect) blocking i do a bit from the table ( not the best way but thats the way i play) so i suppose i need some power in the rubber in order to return the ball in the most efficient way.
