Hi,
1 month ago got a pair of Mizunos Wave Medal 8s. The shoes are great, but I'm encountering a problem during extreme lateral movements and I think It's because they are bigger and wider than the size I should have picked. So the problem is that, at lateral movements, during wide fh the right shoe insole moves to the exterior of the shoe.
I think this is happening not only because the shoe is quite wide, but also because I sweat too much, and if the insole is a bit wet it glides over the shoe.

So my solutions are:
1) To be more concerned about I have to let the shoes dry after training (ok, this is my bad, I was lazy as hell)
2) Buy wider and grippier insoles
3) Fixing the insoles to the shoe
As anyone had problems related to this and tried 2 and 3? Any recommendation of what glue to use, or any special insole on the internet that worked great?

Thanks in advance!

If you have bought shoes that are too big for you then the only real fix is to buy the correct size 😬
For comparison my TT shoes are Mizuno WD 8s so they're almost the same and neither my foot or the insole seem to have any lateral movement at all when laced up tightly.

You could try wearing thicker socks, gluing the insole in place and tightening the laces.
However, if the shoes are too large for your feet than they're not going to give you the proper feeling or support that they're supposed to give.
Your mattress, your chair and your shoes are the three things that you should not compromise on.
Maybe it's just better to bite the bullet and buy the correct size?

If you can't trade them in, glue the insoles in place and make sure you don't wear slippery socks.
If you want to be creative, you could use velcro to fix the insole in place, filling up more space inside the shoe might improve the fit a little bit.
Also try some different lacing techniques, they might secure your foot better.
