They stop using the RS40+ after one event (Europe Smash Sweden). I’m guessing a lot of players complained about the ball. It was suppose to replace the DJ40+ for the 2025-2028 season but they reverted back to DJ40+ for now. I would consider the RS40+ to be worth $0 now since they no longer use them in tournaments.

Well, why don't you try them out and see for yourself? This is a good example of why subjective things in table tennis (like reviews) are so difficult.
Tried it today and I actually liked it. Easier to play with than DJ40+ and good for smashing.
Yes but it's easier to smash 😁I bought 5 boxes, they are good but a little lighter then DJ.
Durability sucks. I brake one ball almost every tournament. Except that fact, it’s pretty much comparable to dj40.
I reckon it's like the inner vs outer carbon preference too. If you prefer fast and borrow power, outer carbon with this RS would suit you well. If you like to control and play 3rd ball with spin, then DJ is more your jam.
