The "carbon" in that blade is painted wood IIRC. I think either of the blades in your title would be a huge step up in pace. You're probably playing with the equivalent of a fairly slow 5 ply. I could be wrong, though, just guessing.

If I had to pick either of those blades, I'd go for the B2X, though, but it'll depend how well you play and what your touch is like. Can you consistently return heavy backspin short?

Im currently using Palio enegy 03 with Donic Bluegrip S1 as BH and Nittaku G1 as FH, it is a good setup imo cause i can handle it howeve i want a more aggresive and offensive setup
I have the same blade and can confirm is relatively slow ALL. The carbon is fake and is not comparable with other carbon blades. Palio Energy 03 has soft ayous top layers that provide dwell time and a good feeling. So, it will be good for your next blade to be with a soft wood top layer - limba, hinoki, ayous. Think B2X will be a big jump in speed. 7ply all wood with limba top will be a good update, Cliper or Fextra 7 for example.

If you want to go to carbon outer with good control for a cheap blade you could try Yinhe pro 1. I just but a fast rubber (Nittaku hammond z2 2mm - on the forehand) on another cheap innercarbon blade the DHS pg5x and it worked very well. The DHS fan bo bx2 is slightly faster than the pg5x but the pg5x has slightly more control. I find the pg5x has slightly higher and shorter arc. Both good blades for the price. :)

ill take it into consideration haha, cause im planning to use the new upcoming setup for a pretty while and im still not sure with the brand sanwei
If you are worried about Sanwei's qc then you should be even more worried about DHS's qc. Getting a DHS equipment, bar the provincial rubbers, is like a gacha - depends on the divine providence haha. Good luck.

I haven't used it personally, but there's some handle dimensions here: https://tabletennis11.com/en/blog/review-dhs-fang-bo-b2-and-b2x-composite-blades

It looks like a Long 5 type handle to me, and people commonly feel they're a bit small. I have a Stratus Power Wood which is a little bit larger in handle dimensions than B2X and it does feel slightly small for me, and I have small hands, although I wouldn't say it's a problem. It's definitely smaller than Stiga Allround Evolution's handle, which I much preferred.

i got a question from what ive read in some forums about hurricane 301 and b2x. Which is peoplee say 301 is the little brother of hl5 and b2x is the closest to hl5, which one is true? or both are true?
