Harimoto actually told Table Tennis Kingdom in 9/2025 that XP is the hardest player to deal with (and similarly FH-oriented players such as Aruna and AJH). Significant enough to get picked up by mainstream news.

Yeah im sure that is true, which is why he is 3-1 against XP winning his last 3 in a row but is 5-2 down against the backhand dominant lebrun and 7-3 down against Liang Jingkun the backhand dominant player.

Statistically he struggles most VS backhanded players.

Of course she slows down the match when the opponant is on a hot streak if she can, but getting a card while the reciver is not ready isn't sensible.

What did the umpire want? her to serve while hashimoto was not ready so it can be a replay point? there is no winning in that situation, if she serves she gets a yellow for not waiting and if she waits she gets a yellow for letting the reciver get ready.

Again try to watch what happened and not what people say its clear she did try to slow the hot streaks but at the time she got a yellow there was no infraction

Look up his stats against penholders. He said in part-4 of the Butterfly interview after Paris 2024 that LYJ and F. Lebrun were two players he was not confident of beating even on his best day. Harimoto had lost only once against LYJ until mid-2024 (5/6=83.3%), and since that loss at Paris 2024 Harimoto's win rate has gone down to roughly 50-50 (5/9=55.6%). Likewise, Felix lost in 2 of the last 3 encounters (1/3=33% win rate) against Harimoto after 5 consecutive wins in then 6 encounters (5/6=83.3% -> 6/9=66.7%). Therefore, it's all relative and not static. Using the past to assess the future without reservation is prone to erroneous justification of the present.

Harimoto has defeated most of the former and current top CNT players that ML named him as the best non-CNT player and yet some folks here still argue he sucks. As I've repeated, folks are arguing with the players and coaches at this point.

Sure but if Xiang Peng is the hardest player for him and he is 3-1 upa against him do you think he deliberately lost to Wang ChuQin 13 times and only won 3 who apparently is much easier for him.

why doest he not want to be the number 1 and olympic champion when all he needed to do was beat people who are that much worse than Xiang Peng who he dominates?

WTT的解说谈陈熠被驳回医疗暂停：陈熠现在可能在请求医疗暂停，哦确实如此，她拿下这一分后立刻按住了后颈，当然她绝对不能再有任何拖延时间的表现了，因为她已经有一张红牌了。
所以我认为裁判的意思是这是旧伤复发（昨天已经因为这个伤势喊过一次医疗暂停），和昨天情况一样，因此她不能申请医疗暂停，她只能是另外一个部位受伤，如果她说是其他部位疼痛会怎么样呢？我相信这不是战术拖延，她确实是身体出现状况了，但这真是充满戏剧性的一刻，因为陈熠不能再因为拖延吃黄牌了，结果会对她很不利。
