New blade from Sergio, with the "same composition" as the first one, but only on paper! So the composition is still limba, ayous, A-C carbon, ayous core, but it is significantly different blade. The first one had extremely dense core, and this one has 23% less dense core, and it has 12% more dense (g/m2) A-C carbon, and also the medial ayous is denser. These are the facts that I understand, Sergio also used different glueing, which is a black magic for me... The blade feels crisper, as was my requirement, I wanted to feel the carbon more when power applied... It is excellent for the BH... The carbon feeling is closer to Viscaria than to the 1st blade. My Viscaria still feels stiffer to me... I somehow miss the dense core, when I was playing with the 1st blade, whatever else I tried felt hollow, like paper... I had already 4 trainings with the blade (in 5 days since it arrived ;-) ), and yesterday I realized I am used to it now, on both sides. Really good... The weight is 91g, dimension 158x150, frequency 1380Hz, whole setup 197g... The second (of the 2 shown) is for a friend, exact same construction, just 157x150 dimension.

Just tried out the LAC and Rxton 9 at the club today. Wow was the LAC impressive! It played really well on both FH and BH, though I think it probably suits the BH a bit better due to its relatively lower throw and higher reactiveness compared to the H3. Now I'm thinking that maybe I should've tried it a bit longer without boosting, as I'm a lot more serious about using this rubber now. Really clear feeling, very nice speed and spin, not quite as dwelly as H3. The blocker also felt it was impressive.

The Rxton 9 was a disappointment. Maybe it needs a bit more time for the booster to kick in, but it felt like a dense, yet somewhat mushy mess. It took an extreme amount of effort to hit into it, there was simply no clear feeling. I'll try it again over the next couple of days, but if it doesn't change for the better I'm gonna slap a sheet of H3 on it.

I glued D09c and D05 on it. The general feeling is that it reminds me a lot of the Stiga Inspira Hybrid. I'm actually surprised by how much I liked the blade. It's not as much like Viscaria as I thought. Even its head size is a decent bit bigger, and it doesn't feel as stiff and muted as a Vis. It's got good vibrations, is pretty easy to hit into, has a nice arc, and it's also really fast. I think it's a little too fast for me, but it's possible that it was due to the pairing of D09c instead of my usual H3.

I think it's a bit fast for me, but I think it's a good blade.

How's the handle on it? It looks small but perhaps the larger head size has something to do with that?

It's pretty standard, nothing really stood out. Overall shape is similar to FZD's but just a bit thinner in terms of height (direction perpendicular to the blade face).

Played with the Rxton 9 and LAC on LJK ADC setup again. The Rxton 9 did indeed play much better, with much better hand feel, but still nowhere near a high performance rubber. Both H3 and LAC have much more speed/spin, with LAC favoring speed a bit more and H3 favoring spin a bit more. My practice partner thinks it's just overboosted, though I'm not convinced. I commented on it on Muscle Pong's live cast with the Loki Germany guy today, and the Loki guy thinks Rxton 9 actually needs a ridiculous amount of booster and he just doesn't think it's a good product.

Either way, I'm taking it off my racket and I'm gonna glue a sheet of H3 on it. I'm gonna give the LJK ADC a real try, pairing it with H3N BS on the FH and LAC on the BH. I ordered some more sheets of LAC, and I'm gonna try the LAC on my S968 as well. I've predominantly played D09C on the BH of all my 968 variants, W, Q, and S, but it never felt right. The catapult of the D09C just didn't sync up with the 968s' catapult. H3 fit better, but it was too hard to activate. I think a linear, hard, but still easy to activate rubber like LAC might fit much better, and cost a lot less to boot.

Just one more post about the LAC. I can't understate how impressive it's been. We have a group of dedicated EJs at the club, and everyone we've all now tried my LJK with LAC setup as well as played against it. Every single person has been extremely impressed with it. The combination of speed, spin, control, and clear hand feel of it has just been out of this world. We brought out our best stuff to comp with it, single digit W968/S968, Golden Vis, etc. paired with Zyre 2.7/2.5, freshly boosted H3N BS, D09c, D05, V2C, everything, and nothing is so well rounded as the LAC with 2 layers of regular Seamoon. Man, talk about price/performance ratio!
