European table tennis championships are not an event to maximise ticket revenue, but to find out who the strongest player in the continent is.
I don’t know if you actually bothered to buy tickets and watch one of these events on site but i have in many occasions and i can tell you that this particular group of idiots that bring megaphones, sirens and all sort of nonsense in a fking indoor hall are an earsore to everyone around them and just disturbing to the other players. I find it just unnecessary to allow a bunch of idiots to change courses of rather important matches.

Btw i think they were indeed banned in malmö a couple years back. It is not a football match after all.

I happen to be old enough to remember Champions league finals from the Primorac era when the megaphones and the sirens in sold out venues were actually welcomed.

There aren't many spectators also in several WTT events, but ITTF covers the problem with giant LED-Wall. But the times of the sold-out venue in Paris Bercy 2013 are long gone. ETTU should try maybe with some bigger towns like Berlin or Milan, where you can pull inside school boys with low price ticketing, but at the end... Who cares? If you are there... you watch the match closer to the tables and better. If you are not there... it doesn't mean how many people are inside.

ECL is a half dead competition now, but in the 90s was pretty big. TV coverage, any top player there. Italian squad Alfaterna signed also Kong Linghui for few years.
