WRB outclassed in the serve/receive and short games. Serving long to force top spin rallies would probably be easier for him to manage I reckon.

Cultural nuances are a reality but what I see in the Chinese corner is Chen doing a full on 'yeah, Whatever' when the coach is speaking.
Not dissing it. Fun to watch and speculate.
Seemed to listen more in the deliberate time out. Still kinda hood though. I like it.

wow, what a satisfying victory lol. LYJ!!!!
Nah. LYJ for LA 2028. They didn't want WCQ to reveal secret tactics he had to beat LYJ so they let WRB beat WCQ so he could take the fall after seeing how LYJ dealt with ZQH. But LSD and WCQ still have secret recipes but need to be healthy. Just watch... the enemies of the CNT are being set up....

Just talking. The CNT use their players like pieces on a cheasboard to select their opponents in LA 2028. I read it on quite a few posts here so it has to be true.

WS QF
Hayata WR6 (5) 4-3 KM WR5 (4) (-11, 7, -6, 7, 3, -13, 7)
Cunning CNT, blowing the 5:2 lead in G4 and G6 like that. Trying to keep Hayata in the selection race with >= 700 pts?

CNT: Hayata for LA28!
Sato: TT__TT
WS QF
CXT WR7 (6) 2-4 Harimoto WR3 (2) (-10, -5, 6, -11, 11, -7)

CNT: The stage (trap?) is set.

QD WR11 (8) 0-4 Harimoto WR3 (2) (-6, -13, -6, -5)

Proof that Harimoto told the truth at the start of this event.

Yes, this could be a cunning plan from Team China. Let Hayata beat the likes of KM and CY a few times, so the Japanese team coach would be keen to play Hayata in the 2nd singles spot in the next team final against China. They wouldn't want to face Hashimoto again for another two matches in a team final, that is for sure.
