·At the age of 4, Timo Boll began to practice table tennis.

·With 14 years old, he became the youngest player to play in the Bundesliga. Boll shared ths achievement with Frank Klitz.

·In 1995 he won his first international title at the European Students Championships.

·140 months in the top-10! In February 2002 he got into the top-10. He was there until January 2004, when he began to struggle with his back injury. He went back in March 2004 and was there until June of the same year. From September 2004 he hasn't left the top-10.

·10 months in the #1 of the World Ranking list! In January 2003 Timo Boll reached the #1 of the world ranking list for first time. He stayed at the top until May 2003. Then he went back in August to September. In 2011 he reappeared in the first spot, from January to March.

·18 titles
won in ITTF Pro Tour tournaments

·6 medals
in Pro Tour Grand Finals: 1st place in singles in Fuzhou 2005 and 3rd place in Stockholm 2002 and Bejing 2004, 1st place in doubles with Christian Süss in Fozhou 2005 and Macau 2009, and 3rd place with Zoltan Fejer-Konnerth in Hainan 2001.

·6 European singles titles
win in Zagreb 2002, Belgrade 2007, St. Peterburg 2008, Ostrava 2010, Gdansk-Sopot 2011 and Herning 2012. In total he has won 16 titles in European Championships counting the 5 title in the team event and the four titles in doubles with Christian Süss and one with Zoltan Fejer-Konnerth.

·5 titles
in Europe Top-12: Rotterdam 2002, Saarbrücken 2003, Copenhagen 2006, Düsseldorf 2010 and 2011

·9 titles in German National Championships
. Last year Boll surprisingly lost to Steffen Mengel in the final, but he said that he will still fight for his 10th title.

·2 titles in World Cups
held 2002 and 2005. He beat Kong Linghui in 2002 and Wang Hao in 2005. Besides, he got the fourth place in Barcelona 2007, 3rd place in Magdeburg 2010 and 2nd place in Liege 2008 and Liverpool 2012.

·1 medal in World Table Tennis Championships. Boll clinched the bronze medal in Rotterdam 2011 and also the silver medal in doubles with Christian Süss in Shanghai 2005. In team event he got the 3rd place in Bremen 2006 and the 2nd place in Doha 2004, Moscow 2010 and Dortmund 2012.
