Shanxi = Datuhe ???

Yes, Shanxi = Datuhe (team of Liu Shiwen)
and Gulin = Churin Kvass (team of Wang Manyu)

Wov wov wov! :)
Well done Zhu Yuling and also Feng Yalan, wov!

Exactly ! Personally, I think that Zhu Yuling is the most talented player in the women CNT (she has the biggest potential). She has a great control of the ball and understands the spin very well. I like her playing style which (IMO no shouts;)) reminds me a bit JO Waldner.
But, her coach, Li Sun, said she is a little bit lazy (in this GREAT interview translated by strideforwad in the site : http://www.tabletennisdaily.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?5016-Li-Sun-talks-about-his-coaching-career).

Xu xin and Yan An both lost in this round. Just tells the level in the CTTSL is insanely high. Also looking forward for some vid updates Janus :)

Timo Boll also lost very quickly to Fan Zhendong! Liu Jikang does very well in the China Super League.

Just scary how good every player is!
It is like you could drag out a random person from a local Chinese restaurant and they could play on a high level ;)

The young guns are moving fast forward with a new generation of modern offensive play. It is scary that they always are a thousand step ahead compared to Europe.

Well I heared this story about Jindrich Pansky and Milan Orlowski, you can google them, they were very good players at their time, now they play second best league in Czech republic..
They were in China and they found a table at the airport. They just tryed to play there and some guys went around, wanted to play and they beat them.
So just some anonymous chinese guys beat these very good players, thats just insane..!!!

There is no more that every chinese knows kung fu .. Its not the kung fu anymore, its table tennis ;)

Not totally true.

Chinese culture is more conservative.
The ones that will "challenge" you to a game of table tennis are the "trained" ones, semi professional if you may say, or maybe older players who have tons of experience. A big portion of the current youth (unversity students and lower) don't play table tennis, and have the same level of your garage players, or maybe worse.

On the contrary, western cultures are more open and see things with more joy and don't fear embarasement or shy compared to the Chinese.
Ie, in the west, I met so many people that are "Ping Pong Pros", and love to challenge or at least make such claim, only to turn out to be garage pros.
