fastest! Sardius is a monster to tame with a very solid feel. The old one(whithout serial numbers and metal logo) has a raw power with great feel. Last time i checked Japan already stopped production of this beauty but they are willing to make again with a minimum of 100 pcs per transaction

This was a weapon my wife used to totally kill me on the first ping-pong date. In any tourney or club training, when she smashes the ball just looks disappeared lol. Even the umpire has to confirm all the time whether the ball in or out, and we just can recognize by the sound of the ball hitting the table.
Her smashing + sardius = invisible =))))

Hey Brice, give MiLe the credit for seeing your ball and getting into position with that sudden Tiger-Hop step around to smash you to pieces. Geesh, in the club tourneys I had to spot her 3 or 4 points AND she was doing that to whatever I hit to her a little high on BH side haha... I think she took a 2-0 lead in games vs me until I quit feeding her, quit feeling sorry she was a lady and started to attack her with spin or pace haha.

For the rest of the forum, the Wife of Brice is about 5 foot not so tall, not so heavy, but she will punch you upside Ur head in a TT match if you do not dicate the flow of the points haha if you don't attack, she sure wont hesitate.

Brice might have been making it easier for her to attack to get on her good side though... :)

The fastest current blade I see out there are the J-Pen monsters like Kim Taek Soo and RSM Max.

For shakehand still around production, EVERYONE has their fast blades and it can be debatable.

This blade doesn't get the rep as fastest blade around, but the Oscar, an A/C blade from Nexy is simply a really fast version of TBS.

Over at OOAK and MyTT forums, Tommy Zai, a really avid TT player and EJ challenged President Moon to make the fastest blade on the planet and there is a thread on each forum discussing this.

This sure gonna be fun

I think they need to make the table longer, so the ball can land on.
Maybe a tennis court can do :p

I tried a KTS and RSM Max, I think both was with Tenergy rubbers with my visit to Taiwan earlier this year.
Indeed crazy FH topspin speed. So much power is a very light setup

I still prefer Cpen though :)

in that case shakehand would be something like darker speed 90?
or tibhar h-1-9
or butterfly senkoh series

they still sell the senkoh series here, you got the 85, the 90 and the 100(max)

Some serious contenders there ! In the UK the local distributor isn't offering the Tibhar H-1-9 any more although it appears other vendors elsewhere in Europe & the USA still have some in stock. Tibhar's website also appears to be largely deceased. So far as I know we don't have a distributor for Darker (although I remember Darker rubbers being fairly freely available in the 1980s) and it appears that all current production of the Speed 90 shakehand has been sold - none of the Japanese shops appear to be offering them at the moment.

I don't know if we've been able to get Butterfly Senkoh in the past but the UK distributor isn't currently offering them. I suspect Butterfly may only be making them in Jpen/Cpen now - I can't really tell because they're not in the catalogue either.

Joola R2. It is a thick balsa wood blade. There is little dwell time. I had a hit with it and I quickly asked why and gave it back to its owner.

JOOLA genesis is 1 ply hinoki

Correct. I originally said "A 1-ply Hinoki blade is also very fast if you can find one. Here in the UK we can't get Darker or Juic without ordering from Japan but there are still some Joola Genesis about" - where in that did I imply that the Genesis is anything other than 1-ply Hinoki ? A slight misunderstanding there, I feel :D

thx 4 ur review btw, it was great. i think im going to go for a joola rossi force with rhyzm in 2mm on both sides. (i get 20 per cent off with bribar :D )

You won't regret getting Rhyzm, it's a great rubber. Do look after it though - edge tape, rubber protectors and so on. Also, be aware that due to its grippy nature it picks up dirt very quickly so you'll need to keep it clean. Enjoy !!
