I think in tournaments which are less intense, Ma Long plays like Ma Long and always has a big chance to win. In grand slams, as we just saw, it's a different story. He has disappointed me a few times just like you, but let's not forget that he is still a superb player, outside grand slams! ;)...

I just watched the match again and cannot agree more with UpSideDownCarl You can see a similar pattern for 90% of Wang Hao's points (at least in the first 3 games and the last one): 1- Wang Hao serves short to Ma Long's forehand, he pushes long (or totally misses) and Wang Hao attacks...
