  1. Thick Handle Blades

All this would be brilliant! Handles seems to br getting smaller and smaller all the time. Maybe TT players are differente these days... TTGearLab is doing a fine job describing handles but they always exclude the length of the handle.
  2. Run-in between Moregard and SBTF?

The player and coach have stated that the media is making things up. I guess it is possible that they are lying, but it is also possible that media got it wrong in the first place and was a bit sensational trigger happy. We can only speculate.
  3. Run-in between Moregard and SBTF?

Looks like he only wanted to sleep (and eat) at home since the swedish team had the preparations in his home town. Thats the story. Maybe we all should just go back to sleep... https://www.expressen.se/sport/truls-moregardh-slar-tillbaka-mot-svt/
  4. Calderano Signs with Joola (#139)

I believe the korean made blades are often that size.
  5. Inside the Handle - Various blades

And I thank you for it! :)
  6. Inside the Handle - Various blades

    Enlightening thread.
  7. Tibhar MK Carbon Blade

Thanks! Looks slightly thicker. Or more rounded.
  8. Dear fellow EJs, give me your (non)wisdom

If you truly are an EJ you already know what is going to happen. You will buy the MK Carbon and as soon as you've glued rubbers on it you'll start looking for the best deal on a VS Unlimited. Thats just how it goes and there is no stopping it! ;) May I just hijack, or perhaps broaden, this...
  9. The inside view, design, and construction of factory blades that come to us for repair

Interesting. I always thought that one of the differences between Boll series and many other Butterfly blades was that the handles have caveties (like the W5 above). The ones Ive tried have felt slightly more head heavy.
  10. Tibhar MK Carbon Blade

Old thread. Any one else had the chance to try it out? How is the balance compared to famous Butterfly models? More or less head heavy? And how are the handles?
  11. We Challenged World's Best Anti Spin Player!

Because it is not the sport they enjoy.
  12. Why do pros risk tossing the ball outside the 30 degree window?

There is actually a third alternative - change the rules. Everyone will be happy. 99,9 % of the games won't have cameras and professional umpires.
  13. Why do pros risk tossing the ball outside the 30 degree window?

Old habit. Everyone is doing it. No one really cares - most people think it’s the rules that are at fault, not the servers.
  14. We Challenged World's Best Anti Spin Player!

Well. I don't think they are cheating. Pips and low friction rubbers have a long history in TT. ( And personally, I have a good record against them since I tend to win more in lower speed games) However - it is so much more fun to play "regular" inverted games. And even more so practices. It...
  15. We Challenged World's Best Anti Spin Player!

She is clearly not going full speed either. And a lot of placements are done to give rallys for the audience.
