I think the ball is number 10.
  3. Kevin Korb's Tibhar Actium Review

I agree as well. Innovation is incredibly important in the table tennis market, and Nexy is doing a good job at this (This is a major factor as to why I am such a huge Xiom fan). Innovation creates the next new thing with the potential to revolutionize an aspect of the game -- like the Actium...
  4. Kevin Korb's Tibhar Actium Review

There is definite backhand attack potential with the Actium. I tested the blade with Xiom Sigma I Pro on the forehand, and Xiom Omega IV Asia on the backhand. It may not be second nature to you as a player, but you have to remember the potential for twiddling with the Actium blade. When I played...
  5. Kevin Korb's Tibhar Actium Review

No disrespect to table tennis daily by linking to another forum, but here is a thread on mytabletennis.net that has a number of pictures of the Actium Blade (and an interesting review read as well): http://mytabletennis.net/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=68946&title=tibhar-nexy-actium-review-by-tommy-zai
  6. Kevin Korb's Tibhar Actium Review

Hey guys! Finished my review of the Tibhar Actium blade today. Thanks to Nexy for the chance to review such a work of art. Read the full review on my website at: http://kevinstabletennis.com/?cat=138 I look forward to hearing your thoughts and answering your questions! Pong on!
  7. XIOM VEGA EURO blade

Got it. I will post soon. I will make sure that the review for the Vega Euro is the first one I write :D
  8. XIOM VEGA EURO blade

Hey Eshkaft! I just got this blade in my shipment from Xiom a few days ago. I've been swamped with work over the last couple days, but I hope to have a review of both the Vega Euro and the Vega Pro (and all sorts of other Xiom equipment too) up very soon. Hopefully within the next week. I will...
  9. Recruiting testers for launch of Tibhar new blade, ACTIUM.

I want to give you guys an update. My Actium Blade has arrived, and the review will come shortly. For now, I would just like to say that there is a definite difference in speed and control from forehand to backhand. Very fun blade to play with! Will post my review soon.
  10. 4 Year Old Training for Table Tennis

Very true. When I was little, my dad would set up a bench for me to stand on while playing. It did make it harder to move around though. Playing was mostly just standing there and hitting it back and forth with the bench.
  11. 4 Year Old Training for Table Tennis

That's an interesting idea. I'm not sure exactly how much of a benefit it would truly have, because unless the table height was continually changed as she grew her form would continually change as she outgrew the table at different heights. At this age, getting a generally feel of the paddle...
  12. Recruiting testers for launch of Tibhar new blade, ACTIUM.

You make a very good point. Giving an attacking C-Pen player a defensive blade, asking them to review it, and expecting this to be your best resource would be foolish. Blades are so different that that it would be like giving a race car driver a motorcycle and expecting everything to translate...
  13. Mental training for Table Tennis

Teammates loved the drill. Definitely something we'll be using more often! Thanks for the suggestion!!! :D
  14. Mental training for Table Tennis

This is one of the most frustrating aspects to the game. Sometimes there is just nothing you can do when luck is going your opponents way. What you need to remember is that there are certain things you can control, and not get stressed out by the things outside of your control. But after that...
  15. Help! Table tennis tournaments

Food is a must. You burn waaaaaayyyy more calories than you think you will, and being hungry ruins the whole thing. Here's something I wrote about some of the mental aspects about the game with relation to tournaments. Check it out! Hope it helps --> http://kevinstabletennis.com/?p=290
