Noticed that many of the young Chinese taking part in tournaments lately are pips players.

Yang Huize (Inspiria/H3/Moristo SP)

Feng Yixuan (W968/H3/P1V?) - a lefty using P1V, where have I seen that before...

Zhang Yulu (Mima Ito/H3/?)

Plus the choppers; Zhu Ziyu (08X/H3/Saviga V), Wei Jingming (Victas/H3/P1V)

This extends to the men as well. Chen Junsong (Q968/H3/Moristo SP) and Huang Xunan (Hurricane King acB/H3/Moristo SP?)

You forgot LI Tianyang and Sun Yang

True I forgot to add them. I posted before about Li Tianyang, who definitely was using an old RITC 729 rubber.

The pips are too wide and broad to be long. If you zoom in close enough I think you can see the dash between the numbers, so I am willing to bet it's 802-40.

What rubbers and blade is Sun Yang using?

Why do you guys keep posting about some players that almost no one knows?
As a pips player (who has played with short, medium, and long), the fact that so many young players, particularly Chinese players, are using pips again is very interesting. I wonder how much of it is creating high level sparring players or they think it's more viable in the plastic ball era.

I noticed Li Hechen using a Tibhar Lebrun blade in Taiyuan. Is it Alexis Krypto or Felix Hyper? And is he using K3 BH?
You can read "Tibhar" on his backhand rubber here.

I think it's the Alexis and not the Felix. The Alexis handle is predominantly red, where as the Felix is mostly blue.

Looks like Oh Junsung is using a custom Libra.

Kim Nayeong switched to Hurricane 8 on her backhand from Xiom (this might have happened a while ago)

Pyon also switched to the Butterfly 70th Anniversary "Effort" like Kim Kum Yong. I wonder why they like this blade so much?
Just how much booster does Oh apply to his rubber if even K3 looks that way?

At this point Kim Nayeong might as well be sponsored by DHS instead of XIOM.

Honestly, I would guess not that much. It looks still ok, no pimple structures visible. Only lines from glue. Like one or two layers, it seems.

Liang Jingkun has bottom label ripped out. Question is whether it is Loki ADC blade, or just a handle.
