China will field WCQ first to boost morale with a win. Likely against Tomo, the most consistent of the three.

While it's true that recently Sora managed to beat WCQ, it's questionable if he can actually pull it off again. Putting him second to take a win against a vulnerable LSD is a good choice because he could face off against WCQ while still high in serotonin.

Togami will lose against LJK for sure.

Tomo vs LSD is a fun one, but I'll take Tomo this time.

WCQ and Sora. Now this is an interesting one. Sora defeated WCQ quite convincingly recently and hopefully this time around he would do the same. I still pick WCQ tho.

LJK is literally the wall for the China mens team. Dude knows how to win deciders even from being behind.

Had either Coton or Alexis won their games France would have had a good chance to win the last match between Coton and Lin. This match would have been similar to the KOR vs China game in the Semi finals at 2024 Busan Team Champs. I believe at that time JWJ won against WCQ and LSS won against ML.

I think the finals I would say 51-49 chance with China most likely to win. Will Japan use the same lineup as last time at the Asian Team Champs and put Shinozuka at 3 instead of Togami. I think Shinozuka should play ahead of Togami but with Shinozuka not playing a match so far this tournament might prove detrimental to the Japan team.

I agree with Shinozuka. A leftie would be a good surprise. And Uda is less consistent than Shinozuka imo
I know they will not put Lin at 2 due to H2H with Harimoto and Sora. At least with Shinozuka vs Lin will be a good match up even though Shinozuka lost that tie it was a close match 3-2. I don’t see Togami being able to outmatch Shinozuka vs Lin.

He loses the plot as Liang gains confidence. A reminder to everyone that you do not play with your food until you have cooked it because it can always fly away.
Yes, should have wrapped up the match 3:0. I don't think he would be able to sleep for the next couple of nights 😕

In hindsight, Cotons match summed up the remainder: spectacular, high level, very tense but in the end it just slipped away.

I don't often watch games in full but this was one hell of an experience.
It may not be a victory for France but it is surely a victory for Coton. To bring WR#1 to the decider is some feat. Monsieur Coton, your future is bright!

There's such a thing as living abroad.
Then I don't know whethere you support your home team or your place-were-you-live-now team? He has specified he supports France. I was asking a friendly question, further emphasizing the friendliness by putting a "lol" after it.

These tournaments are always thrilling, right up until the end: 🇨🇳

Even "vulnerable" China is a level above everyone else. If Japan wins the MT final, I'll eat my D09c.

KOR/FRA: We lost to FZD rather than CHN.

It's possible to beat Chinese. It's nigh impossible to beat China. You need 9 games from at least 2 different players. And the last women to do so are ethnic Chinese. (Feng Tianwei and Wang Yuegu)

LYJ (more details in the second interview) and Harimoto on MT SF.

Even LYJ couldn't keep his cool and suppress his urge to kill the point, which is a big no-no in the majors.

[http://t.cn/AXih9EAs] Moonlight_Rio的微博视频
(Lin Yun-Ju: I started off very well, and played the first few points of the first game very well. Perhaps I got a little anxious later on, especially with some unexpected shots, and my subsequent responses weren't as well-thought-out.

Harimoto Tomokazu: I know we haven't reached the final in 10 years, but our goal this year has always been the gold medal, not just reaching the final. Both teams are very strong and formidable. We just need to focus on our own game and fight hard against them. Tomorrow, let's fight for our dreams and our goals!)

In case all the posts I've made have not been crystal clear, the first requirement to "keeping the ball on the table" is to stop yourself from the strong urge to finish the point, more often than not with difficult shots that end up going long.
