Should be fine to order via prott, I will have a good look thanks! I wonder why DHS dont advertise them like the normal prov-nat of the other models :)
I was told these are exclusive versions for provincial teams, these are leaked from the teams themselves. A few months ago they were even experiencing shortages that I couldn't order my favorite H8-710s sponge :p

That makes sense actually, maybe in the future there will be enough production lines for it and they will make them available for the wider public, I would buy them for sure! :D

i think most interesting is that the provincial 8-80 is available in 39° (from taobao) which even makes it a great candidate as a FH rubber.
How do you use Taobao. I downloaded the app, i got a message when i open the app, in chinese, I only recognise the google logo, I guess for registering. But I would have like to just search without registering first.

@victormanriquey I played a bit with the H8-80 on my HL5 clone from Stuor. I putted 1 layer of Haifu National White booster on the sponge directly. Wait 24h before gluing it. It is much "faster" and "dynamic" than in my memories. Maybe the blade is for something. But Tons of control, and way less "explosive" as my Tenergy 19. The throw is much lower than the T19. When blocking or Topspinning, I feel like I had to play open racket. The closed angle I am used to on the T19 put the ball in the net. But my favorite thing, is the tacky. OMG open up is soooo easy. With the tons of control, I feel like I am more controlling the game. And I still have enough speed/power when I engage the body like chinese technic. In this area the T19, I bottom it out when engaging full body. Might be my next BH rubber.

We might end up having the same racket if you fell in love with the HL5 and the Vega china haha :)

Niceee! Im testing SYS and Long5 in parallel at the moment, just to compare them with B2X and WCQ blades, then I will tell you!

First impressions is that I like the neck/shoulders of Long5 more than of WCQ and just a bit more than SYS but the SYS sanded is also very nice. Definitely different than B2X but nice.

On rubbers Im testing lots now, I enjoyed Big dipper V but not sure If I will keep it in my standard gear, review coming soon, VC coming soon for the test!

Also I must say, its ofc a very different rubber but Im enjoying the tests of G09c and BlueGrip S1 on BH, I may keep one of them permanently as a complement to 8-80!

I am curious about your review/comparison of the 3 top DHS blades.

Don't put me in temptation lol.
I want to settle on gear. I think what's good about H8-80 is that it is slow and controllable. In match, i would rather put a slow spinny ball on the table than net or out. I played only 2 player with it, as I want to train with my main racket until the end of the season, to not mess up my feeling/technic. When the season will be over in 2 to 3 weeks time. I think I will put the H8 on my main blade. I just wonder how the rubber will behave, now that we have temp over 30°C outside, and probably 35 in the training hall. Humidity alongside is intense. You don't experience that in Holland lol.

I ll take a bit of time still to do the blade reviews but will come for sure, I just want to make sure I have all details so that takes a bit of time :)

And yeah best is to settle and focus on technique and tactics indeed!

Yeah 8-80 has a lot of control and that's where it excels, it's not the easiest rubber to play with and it depends on whether people like tacky hybrids or not, but excellent rubber for its price in its category :D

Weeellll humidity is definitely an issue in the netherlands during summer, so thats for sure 3 months suffering time for us tacky lovers haha but yeah, i think with 35 or 40 degrees it will be even worse :)

It might be worth for you to also test Xiom Vega Europe H, 45 degrees of hardness and it's H-touch, not C-touch, so it's slightly tacky. I did like it on BH, it needs a fast-ish blade because it's not really fast, but flicks, under spin opening and serving are great with this rubber.

Yes its not bad, tried it enough on Innerforce ALC and lots of control, very slow indeed so needs a tempo blade :) a bit like bluegrip s2 in a certain way haha

DHS has a provincial H8-80 on offer, but they haven't given it to us for the second time. There must be a problem there...

The pro uses Viscaria with two boosted D05s, the semi-pro uses WCQ 968 with boosted D09C on FH and regular T19 on BH.
Coming from T19 on BH, to H8-80. I do enjoy the quality of the rubber. I struggled with the throw angle of T19 being really high, and the rubber not being tacky. So many times the ball slipped from the sheet. I am too used to thin brush with tacky to recover when I am late and can't hit brush confidently. But yeah, too quick for me I think. Also, I am transitioning/focusing on a more controlled BH. Kinda like Ma Long where he controlled the game in BH, to get an ideal ball to finish in FH. T19 was a bit too quick for that.

Sure I am not good as the people you described. But for regular people (I am top 5% in France), it works well. But I think it depends more on people play style so to speak. If you are used to springy topsheet, or tacky. If you are used to springy like Tenergy a small tacky hybrid is better (like nuzn ). But me who played H8-80 in the past, h3 37, Rakza z. I am used to tacky, and despite all the T19 quality, I miss and probably need tackiness of the H8.

@victormanriquey as stated. It is official. I just glued the h8-80, on my main blade. I won my 3 match in today's league. But I know why and what I am getting with the h8-80. The test on my Stuor confirmed it. I putted 2 small layer of Haifu these time. I did 1 heavy I think on the first sheet to get a curl. With 1 I did not. It was a small one. So I putted another small one. I got similar curl. Just glued it. Like I said, I am just removing the break in time there, not looking for improved speed. But coming from T19, it will be slower anyway. And that s the point. Finally i cut it and glued it well. But, I putted a tiny bit of glue on the topsheet, and can't remove it. So there is some ugly bit on the side. But nothing major.

nice to hear! it's a great rubber, and that you boost it can be fine, maybe you need it for your level, for me it was fine :) and the flue on topsheet should be fine if its a little bit, no worries :D

lets see how next games go! you will need some time to adjust and also to confirm your good feelings!

Maybe there is a misunderstanding. I won my matches with the T19. Just to reassure (myself?) that I don't change out of frustration, or bad level of play. But more as a strategic move to improve my game.

Consering my level or yours, maybe we have similar. I think I am equivalent 1800/2000 USATT. So top 5% in France. How about you ?

Like I said, the boost is not for spend, more for reducing break in time. I have a competition next WE, I want to avoid the rubber to change each days of practice lol. I do switch to H8-80 for reduced speed, I don't want it more lol.

Ah yes okay, I saw 5% in france, and I thought you'd be much higher as france has more players than NL, I'm the same ranking indeed, but in NL I'd be more top 8% (maybe 10%) as we have a fairly low amount of players :)

They key will be to see if you win more with T19 or 8-80 in the coming months :D

And let me know about booster :) But yeah, for sure it will be slower than T19, for sure when booster wears off a bit ;)

we have 200 000 licensed player in france. Went from 120k to 200k thanks to Lebrun's brother in the Olympics.

Thanks. I am excited to play TT with it.
