The 2026/27 season soon kicks off in the table tennis England calendar.

Who's ready?, Who's not? Who's got a new bat and Who's not dusted off their bat yet!

:sneaky:Almost ready, currently on holiday and the club is closed. I'm still considering two blades and a few different rubbers

Preseason camp 2 and a half hours.
On season 1 and a hslf hours 3 times a week. So the season is not so intense.

Cheers

That actually sounds quite a nice range of training to get sharp. Nice one

I train once or twice a week but sometimes it can be tricky to find players to train with a bit. I play very few actual matches a year now so kind of get as much as I can before the start of the events.

Done some summer training, but I will push myself in the next two weeks. The plan is doing 3*2.5 + 4*3 hours each week. Probably I will skip one or two sessions, knowing myself. Our new informatics system will start to count TTR, my goal for the new season is to get to 1900. I would prefer 2000, but if I am being realistic I know I am not that consistent.

yes! first tournament at the end of the month, league matches starting shortly after (playing one division higher than last season), then two more tournaments in september, and so on. i'm back to club training three times a week (with trainer) plus currently one weekly personal 1:1 session.
