  9. I am a TPB-only player for now. Out of curiosity, is it easier to do TPB with Cpen or Jpen?

Exactly! Maybe that bh isn't enough at a pro level, but at our amateur level, that bh wins points.
  10. I am a TPB-only player for now. Out of curiosity, is it easier to do TPB with Cpen or Jpen?

Yup, if I try anything fancy on the bh with a short ball, it's usually a shoddy attempt at a strawberry flick or a simple push with placement. The precision penhold provides is one of the major reasons I don't switch grips, even though I should since I am so out of shape lol. I don't have the...

  12. I am a TPB-only player for now. Out of curiosity, is it easier to do TPB with Cpen or Jpen?

There is a tpb flick over the table for jppen, and probably cpen as well. There is an instructional on it with one of Cazuo's student demonstrating it. It's not as powerful as a shakehand flick but it still works. I tried finding the video without success lol. Will keep an eye out for it and...
  13. I am a TPB-only player for now. Out of curiosity, is it easier to do TPB with Cpen or Jpen?

There is power in TPB if you know what to do. The strength of tpb is placement, and that no spin tpb punch that many are not used since most people are shakehand or rpb. Cazuo has a great video on it, and this crazy japanese dude.
  14. Just Boosted H3, 1st Time

Hello TTD, I've never boosted a rubber before, but last week I applied 1 layer of booster, waited 24hrs, applied the second layer, waited 48hrs for the rubber to flatten more, then glued. The first layer didn't dome the rubber at all. It wasn't until I was applying the second layer that the...
  15. Thread about Japanese Players

I always enjoy watching Yuto Muramatsu, where is that dude playing?
  16. Steve Dainton: "We want our athletes to earn what they deserve, but..."

This is a tough one. TT is in a weird placebecause it's one of those sports that only people who play watch it here in the US, and still I know several club members that don't follow rankings, matches etc. You have to get more people playing to grow the fan base here in the US.
