  1. H3N provincial Orange v blue sponge plus boosting

Quick question on new sheet of H3 while boosting do u take the protective film off the rubber sheet or leave on or does it not really make any difference?
  2. H3N provincial Orange v blue sponge plus boosting

I was pondering with idea of only using 1 layer of boost on my new H3N BS 39 as it’s 39 and I don’t want it to be too mushy but I think I will put a second thin layer on tomo. I have so far put a thin layer of seamoon directly onto sponge and it’s been 9 hours and hasn’t curved that much so I...
  3. H3N provincial Orange v blue sponge plus boosting

Do you keep the plastic film on the rubber during boosting phase or do you remove? How long do you wait before applying second layer? A Chinese player at my club said wait 8 hours some say 12-24 hours, any advantage/disadvantage in either? Last time I boosted I waited 12 hours between 1st and...
  4. H3N provincial Orange v blue sponge plus boosting

God the glue layer was nightmare to take off lol… I think as it’s probably so thin. I don’t think next time I will bother taking it off a new sheet I think I will just boost on top first time round 😂😂 I find taking glue layers off generally difficult, I think it’s a patience thing lol
  5. H3N provincial Orange v blue sponge plus boosting

Have you used a H3N provincial as it is with the fa Tory boost? How would it play if I just pasted rubber on as it is with the factory boost and pre glued layer compared to if I took it off and boosted with seamoon 1-2 layers and then pasted. I have been told else where to try it as it is with...
  6. H3N provincial Orange v blue sponge plus boosting

Yes I have used D05/D80 on bh and D09C on fh for quite a while now and only just tested H3N OS past 3 wks which I loved. what are your experiences with the blue and orange sponge and differences u found and which do u prefer and why?
  7. H3N provincial Orange v blue sponge plus boosting

Has anyone else had experience of using both orange and blue sponge and what they found the differences to be and if anyone has also used D09C and comparison to H3N provincial say 39 or 40 degrees?
  8. H3N provincial Orange v blue sponge plus boosting

Yes I would say it does specially the D09C. I use D09C fh and D80 bh and I would say D09C lasts longer but in general Dignics lasts longer than Tenergy. I can’t compare it to H3N yet as my first new sheet arrives tomo.
  9. H3N provincial Orange v blue sponge plus boosting

That’s exactly what I found while using it for past 3 weeks including a competition couple days ago. The sense of control really stands out. I train with various players and one particular players like looping from further away and against him will often get into a loop for loop from mid to...
  10. H3N provincial Orange v blue sponge plus boosting

It’s softer, tiny bit slower but better control. It was a used H3 given to me and I don’t know how used it is. to be honest when I first pasted it on I was expecting it to be much slower than D09C but to my surprise it wasn’t and hardly any adjustment was needed to play with it. I played with...
  11. H3N provincial Orange v blue sponge plus boosting

Hi Guys quick question I was given a used H3Neo provincial orange sponge 39 2.15 and have been using it 3 wks and admit love it. can anyone tell me what’s difference between the blue and orange sponge? I need to get a new sheet as I liked it but was curious whether I should get blue or orange...
  12. Butterfly rubbers

T05 is easy to use and bouncy, rubber does a lot of the work for you. d05 requires good technique but you will get way more out of it especially the spin. D80 is a very good choice, not as popular as D05 pretty much like T80 which isn’t as widely used at T05. The 05 versions seem to be more...
  13. Viscaria with more control

after reading the posts you could firstly consider changing rubbers. T05 is spin sensitive therefore blocking heavy topspin could be the issue also T05 is very springy. I have previously used T05 and as fab as it is in open game it can be bouncy in short game and for that reason changed to...
  14. Butterfly Dimitrij Ovtcharov Innerforce ALC Review

Look forward to your review and comparison. I think speed and control u will find Dima sits in between the TB and HM. I have tried a friends TB with T05 and I find it quick and hard to control specially in a tight game. He himself struggles to control all the time but is content with it. I...
  15. Butterfly rubbers

T19 I would say is a controlled version of T05. My son uses it both sides and I know numerous players that are using on bh. Spin I would say more than T80. Arc t19 is inbetween T05 and T80. Unless you like softer sponge Mayb stay away from T05fx. D05 is harder sponge than Tenergy and grippier...
  16. Stiga DNA Dragon Grip Review

If that’s the case then what would the benefit be of using H3 other than the price? I would imagine serve receive and short game would be better with H3 but any other real benefit of H3 over D09C. I’m asking as I use D09C and have done for over a year but considering trying H3 provincial orange...
  17. Stiga DNA Dragon Grip Review

How does this rubber compare to Dignics 09C in terms of speed and spin? also out of curiousity what boosted Chinese rubber do u use?
  18. Professionals switching equipment

I think different table could make a difference. But I have more often than not heard players saying fast venue slow venue, and this is from coaches that have played in commonwealth games. Also fact Dima mentioned how he makes up bats depending on venue tells us something.
  19. Professionals switching equipment

I couldn’t tell you how the physics would work but if I had to guess it would be air circulation, large space compared to confined space, 🤷🏽*♂️ I didn’t notice till a coach mentioned it to me that our regular club is a fast venue. On one night a week I play at a bigger venue and can tell slight...
