I'm tempted to give it a shot on my lp racket. Last lp's I got was the neptune like 5 years ago to mess around with. It's still in great condition, but I've wanted to check out ox for some time now. Posted this to see if anyone had seen anything like this before.

I just found this rubber on Aliexpress when browsing. It's registered on the larc but has rounded pips. Any idea what this thing is? Would it give any advantage? I've never seen such a thing before, any thoughts? https://a.aliexpress.com/_EGN2BLQ

Update: Returned from practice with the turbo, it's surprisingly very easy to play. Good power and great control. Very good weight on the intensity. This is a keeper.

Noticed it was hella heavy when I got it, don't know about hardness. I guess I'll find out tomorrow.

The weight may be a problem if that's the case, my intensity setup is about 170g with the t05 and vega, if it's that heavy then I'll stick on the intensity and see how it feels.

It says super thick on it, is that 2.0? Then probably intensity is the move?

It's more about the money wasted. 80€ per rubber that will need replacing multiple times in a year is too much for most people. Even if you replace it once per year it's still a lot. I have like, 25 (edit:15, I'm not that crazy) blades, but really only 1 set of rubbers. Currently they're on the korbel. I don't use all my blades, maybe 3 I switch between, the korbel, viscaria and intensity, the rest are either interesting cheap China stuff or blades I went through to develop...

Probably cypress wood, hinoki is too expensive for a budget blade. Not sure if it could be spruce, I don't think so though, the grain looks more like cypress to me.
