Neptune is relatively grippy and slow, more of a defending rubber. Saviga is a well known rubber for blocking, a friend played it in ox. It could be because the ball is less spinny now that they think that having less tackiness and increasing speed is what we like in Chinese rubbers. But it's the opposite for me, I liked Chinese rubbers because they gripped the ball like nothing else, when they changed that, all these rubbers...

I've played a bunch of them and now I'm trying the Battle 2 gold. I'd love to have access to all these rubbers but the fact that new iterations of these rubbers, like hurricane 3 have less tackiness, make them useless to me. At that point esn hybrids are better and sometimes even cheaper.

Probably a general style. Since you mix all sort of techniques, push, topspin, chops, it doesn't indicate anything specific. Probably an advanced amateur style that you see from older players that have been playing for a long time or self taught players that don't follow modern trends and...

Spirit and tbalc are identical with updated looks. The viscaria is more back heavy. Other than that they're identical in composition.

You may find better luck if you put a single layer on the bare sponge. Boosting above a glue layer is nice for Chinese rubbers, but I think that bare sponge is better for factory boosted rubbers.
