  1. H3 42 degree blue

Congrats. Boosted H41 is, or was, actually totally fine for me. Rxton 9 H40,5 also, I wouldn't go for the H39 for the FH. H3 H40 is OK too... The NTH3PTH even though people say it is H43, actually it was really no problem to play, but the problem is it's heavy. The hardness was not really such...
  2. H3 42 degree blue

That's a misunderstanding. The higher the level, the higher the sensitivity to changes/variations, and vice-versa. The lower the level, the less it matters with what you play... However, it's a good idea to recommend something sensible not to hamper progress... And that's what actually happens...
  3. How would you define a Pro?

Yes, I see it that way too actually... But imagine people like zen-monks living in a monastery, practicing whatever they practicing possibly even harder than CNT, getting to levels, which may be incomprehensible sometimes for us, and yet - it's not a job, and there is no remuneration... Hence...
  4. How would you define a Pro?

@Tony's Table Tennis would you say Shi Heng Yi is a PRO? Cheers... EDIT: I know you asked about TT players. I've expanded... Forgive me...
  5. H3 42 degree blue

As I/we know you, it's 100% clear you'll jump right into Nittaku H3 PTB... Nothing else will satisfy you ;-)
  6. Hammond Z2 Special or Omega 8 Euro/Pro for Acoustic Inner?

Hammond Z2 - I played with it shortly on friend's blade, and more than a year ago, and the top-sheet felt harder than rubbers I used on the BH. I felt I can't get what I want on the BH from it, and it was my friend's impression too... He used it on the FH... But we all feel differently and...

    ;-) Moooore.
  8. DHS Hurricane 3 versions in 2025

Hi, it's in this thread, which is about last year's meeting in Polička, which, I have to say, was absolutely amazing - and add the Polička's beer which, when directly in there, is really good, esp. the non-filtered... I think that soon we will know more... Obv. even though I mentioned Slovak...
  9. DHS Hurricane 3 versions in 2025

Yesterday I played with it again after a long time. My SDC W997 blade is now repaired so I glued used C55 and O7P - not new - I just want to squize some time from these rubbers now when the season is over... The C55 indeed has its merrits, the sponge is very pleasant, a bit less dead than...
  10. Help with hurricane 3

He said mililitres, not milimeters... But I gotta say, the questions start to be a bit annoying ;-) There is thousands threads and videos... So common, just do it...
  11. How to minimize the time between second bounce and third bounce on the serve?

Yeah, you're right... His post is good... I realized only now... But to excuse myself a bit - I had these - the obfuscation and height also in the back of my mind - and trying to work on it - but wanted to sort of get the "physics" ;-) right and be sure that I don't neglect it ;-)
  12. How to minimize the time between second bounce and third bounce on the serve?

Interesting... Could be... I also noticed WCQ sort of rotates into the serve, I mean the body, you can see his "main" foot (the stamp on foot), which is right for him, ends not where it started - otherwise you couldn't really rotate the body into the serve... I guess it's the point 2 you speak...
  13. Victas VS>401 my impressions

Today I tried it in 1.5 on friend's Korbel and it really is pretty cool rubber. In max I'm sure I would like it more than my D09C too... Given how this rubber is kind of unknown, I must say it's pretty good - for those who like hard sponges...
  14. Help with hurricane 3

FTL is less slimmy - meaning less like snot from nose - in compare to haifu... OK, that's meant half-seriously ;-) Also, I thought haifu may give a bit more speed initially but evaporates faster... and that is for me a disadvantage... you know given that I want to reglue as late as possible...
  15. Help with hurricane 3

Rakza Z is cca 48-49, so even H39 (cca 51) might feel a bit harder. I'd start with that if you like the RZ's hardness... So I recommend that, but taking H40 would not be a catastrophy ;-) I like FTL (Falco Tempo Long), it's less slimmy ;-) Actually imo, it doesn't matter that much... I use 1...
  16. move from TimoBoll ALC to innerfoce blade

This cannot be said, the innerforce vs outerforce is really not that simple. E.g. I have Viscaria 88g and Innerforce-type blade from SDC, originally 93g, and the serve receive is easier a bit with Viscaria because the Kiri core absorbs more than my dense ayous core on the SDC W997 blade... I am...
  17. How to minimize the time between second bounce and third bounce on the serve?

Any idea why TH chose that distance? And another question, how about the distance from the edge when the ball first hits the table. How do you and other see it? This is a thing which you can hear very well. Usually when it hits close to the edge, it is supposed to be long fast serve. But is it...
  18. How to minimize the time between second bounce and third bounce on the serve?

Sorry for bumping this with unrelated question. I don't want to start a new thread... TH hits the ball signif. further away from the table when serving, than say WCQ. Can someone comment on that? Some players hit the ball close to the table (like WCQ), some a bit further, and some (like TH)...
  19. Post your latest EJ purchase

O8P looks interesting for BH, given its decreased weight. I quite liked O7P, but like Glayzer more... Tell later your impression... O8C probably too soft for FH...
  20. Elbow getting very sore.... would a lighter racket help?

This is a bit of a side angle - you may consider fasting, if you are interested in longer term health... Get some info about it's benefits... Granted, not very popular nowadays I assume... or not yet ;-)
