  1. Which part of body use is more important when doing forehand topspin?

It is done by all those parts, and thus all those parts are important... Imho, what is important is the "feeling of induced movement". Let me explain. Stand straight and relaxed, and rotate the body say to the left a bit - now notice that the arm somehow moves, without muscles. This is what I...
  2. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

I can relate, because I remember back in the days I couldn't play with H3 H37 on the BH, because I felt I can't sustain exchanges, and you were still using it and enjoying it, causing severe trauma ;-) So now the world is back in order ;-) Anyway, I tried several BH rubbers and I'm somewhat...
  3. 🚨 What Is Your BIGGEST Problem In Table Tennis At The Moment?

Not being able to play just and only for the joy of the table-tennis during official matches (I mean not training matches).
  4. Long 5 Blades vs TMXi Blades

Cool, interesting... I also worry about the head size, but now I'd now risk it... However, I spoke with Mr. Vodak per email and there is a high chance he'll be able to repair the blade... So I'm now glueing the Glayzer from my blade to Viscaria and will play with it for a week or two, I have DF...
  5. I have to choose a cheap chinese rubber. H3 NEO, 729 Bloom series, 729 Battle 2s, STN.

Loki Rxton 9 H39, you can then upgrade to H40,5. For 1/2 the H3 price the perf. is very good. Top-sheet is elastic, for me very diff. from STN which I didn't like... However, now I play with Xuperman Powerplay-X, very good rubber too but more exp., and the H3 BS prov. is now getting cheaper, as...
  6. Long 5 Blades vs TMXi Blades

Thanks Matt, I think W968 and Q968 are great blades, but too expensive. The Long 5 - I'm not so sure though. Btw. did An play with Long 5 or the W968? Anyway, valuable information, thanks. So as you see, I'm searching for "alternatives" until SDC's queue is processed and he can build another...
  7. Long 5 Blades vs TMXi Blades

Hi, do they have same handle? Can you compare the handle with the Ovtcharov ALC handle and Viscaria handle? I'm considering buying a inner-layer blade, ideally like 159x150 with Viscaria-like handle, weight cca 90-92g... temporarily... my blade has an injury... shame on me ;-) Candidates: -...
  8. WTT Singapore Smash 2024 3/7-3/17

It's for us to realize, that we live in those few couple of remaining years, where we can still dance and play TT better than... And enjoy ;-)
  9. God decreed Golden Viscaria, but I am an atheist.

Gozo's feeling before (and also after) such shots:
  10. How to minimize the time between second bounce and third bounce on the serve?

Exactly. The movement right after serve in anticipation what may come is important. E.g. sometime I serve short top spin serve, and forget to move back (perhaps because I don't move back that much if it is short under spin), and then I don't have enough time to stand properly for attack... And...
  11. Contact time with the rubber and hitting area

Honestly I think I'm able to feel the varying dwell and bite not only on my hits, but also on the hits of the opponents - I mean different opponents give different feeling of dwell and bite. And also, people sometimes complain that when I play with chinese rubbers on the FH, that the ball...
  12. Best Butterfly bh rubber?

Yes, it does, the spin it produces is really OK, if you engage, and that is not that hard (because of its hardness). And indeed the blocking is, strangely, very OK too. But everything is relative... All I can say, is that if you are already used to cca 47-48 hardness, you will not regret trying...
  13. Contact time with the rubber and hitting area

Unfortunately it is you who is ignoring the facts. There is NO ROLLING. What you/we feel is something else. Yes, we might do something what varies the angle, but this gives us the illusion of rolling, and in reality, we hit at certain angle, which doesn't have time to change and thus - NO ROLLING.
  14. I feel that Dignics 05 is extremely overrated. Is it just me?

I also like Rakza XX when I started playing with it... I give you 2 months and then, shup shup, will welcome you in my Glayzer world!
  15. I feel that Dignics 05 is extremely overrated. Is it just me?

I had BlueGrip C1 and C2 I think 2 years ago, and it was not bad but didn't feel as good as chinese rubbers (I mean those that I like) to me. But I don't really mind using hybrids, I could as well try D09C or ZGR (Tronix or Dynaryz, well it's heavy), or Nuzn 55 (probably heavy too). Or something...
  16. I feel that Dignics 05 is extremely overrated. Is it just me?

I see this way too, everyone has preferences - it would not come to mind to neither not respect those in others, neither to be dependent on whether others respect mine... BUT actually as usual, I'm preaching water, but drinking wine - some players in the club constantly tell me I should stop...
  17. Best Butterfly bh rubber?

Glayzer. End of discussion. Howgh. ADMIN: Freeze the thread, this is the immutable final answer.
  18. Post your latest EJ purchase

@Choosikick - I gotta say, I'm a bit "perplexed" now, you know, the blade is really kind of unique, it's basic speed is not very high, and also it doesn't feel hard (e.g. mine SDC's W997 feels signif. harder), and yet the throw is very low, esp. if you put more power... I only played with it for...
