  1. Playing against long pips and anti rubbers

So you mean that I should rather flat hit a low topspin ball?
  2. Playing against long pips and anti rubbers

Ok, so alternating between topspin once which comes back as no-spin or little back spin which I chop and push and this then comes back with no-spin or slight topspin back which I kill with a smash. Is this correct?
  3. Playing against long pips and anti rubbers

I had a match against a anti-rubber opponent and I lost the game. I need some advice on how I could improve or strategize against such opponents. When the opponent chop pushed the ball against me, the returns from me either went high out of the table or it landed so high on the opponent for...
  4. Hammond Z2 Vs Fastarc G1

Was in the same dilemma for Harimoto alc that I have. Ditched both and went with T05.
  5. FH Rubber for ALC Blade

Had another training session with the Harimoto alc. It just amazes me. I need to adjust my technique a little bit with Rakza 7 on BH where it feels very sensitive to incoming spin. Misread some serves and the return went off the table. This was not the case when I used Rakza Z for BH. For the...
  6. Buy another pair of Rakza 7 or buy different rubbers?

It depends and this whole thing about balde, rubber, player level adaptability is subjective with respect to a lot of factors.
  7. Buy another pair of Rakza 7 or buy different rubbers?

Fully agree that Tenergy 05 on the short game requires a lot of control, but if you are a progressive player, you can easily get used to it with few days of practice. Once you get used to it, you have a weapon at your disposal.
  8. FH Rubber for ALC Blade

Came back from a training session with the Harimoto alc. It was fantastic, but at the beginning I lacked a bit of control and the FH blocks (from close to the table) were going out of the table, but I adjusted the angle of the blade and it started to get better. Topspins from mid distance felt...

I went with Tenergy 05 for FH, Rakza 7 for BH. The overall weight of this is around 189 gm. I now have 2 solid setup that I will rotate and test over the next months.
  10. FH Rubber for ALC Blade

I'm willing to experiement with an FH rubber on my Harimoto Innerforce ALC blade that has the following characteristics: 1. Least sensitive to spin on the short game - This is my weakness and I often loose against opponents that chop short on the table. I quickly loose patience, try to turn...
  11. Nittaku Accoustic Inner Carbon G-Revision FL Comparison

I came back from a training session today. Performed bad than I usually used to when playing with my old setup with the Stiga Clipper. I played 2 sessions, one with an opponent who is more attacking and the next is more chop and push kind of a player. Few things that I noticed in particular...

Is 90.5 grams for the blade weight still heavy for the Butterfly Innerforce ALC?
  13. Looking for Blade Suggestions (Balanced, Handle-Heavy, Injury Prevention)

I just posted in the other thread. My Nitaku Acoustic Inner Carbon G-Revision with Rakza Z 2.0 on BH and G-1 max on FH weighs around 193 gm. Annoying!
  14. Nittaku Accoustic Inner Carbon G-Revision FL Comparison

My Nittaku Acoustic Inner Carbon G-Revision with Rakza Z 2.0 for BH and G-1 Max on FH weighs overall 193 gm. This is annoying to me as I did not pay attention to ask for the weight of the blade when I purchased (got is used). I was assuming that it has a carbon composite and by default the...

Would the Innerforce Layer ALC something to consider?
