  1. Butterfly Zyre 03

TBH I think its still very early, even though the hype was massive, I know people will cement their opinions more in the coming years. I remember it took a bit of time for folks to truly behold T05, some were saying it felt weird and held the ball too long, where some were talking about how it...
  2. Butterfly Zyre 03

Thats the thing, I felt Z03 to only reward active and solid textbook technique. If I hit too soft, if I hit too late, if my stroke isn't properly supported by the rest of my body, and if I don't cleanly swing through the ball, the ball falls off the topsheet or shoots out of the sponge. Z03...
  3. Found the perfect setup for everyone unless you're a pro

G1 is made in Germany, and quite a few Toyotas (at least those designated for the USDM market) are not manufactured in Japan either
  4. Found the perfect setup for everyone unless you're a pro

What then if someone cannot afford it? ALX series plus G1 are not that expensive in the grand scheme of things but they are also not exactly cheap.
  5. Butterfly Zyre 03

Still got both. I tried to take a better photo: (Left to right, D80, Franziska, Z03 2.7, Z03 2.5, FZDSALC, Vega China)

  7. Butterfly Zyre 03

Some inconsistencies between my 2.7 black and 2.5 red sheet The black sample has larger pores, and a darker colored sponge compared to the sponge on the red sample. Anyone else experience this?
  8. New Stiga Cybershape Aura (!?)

I think the solution has to be found by answering, what do you want to put up with? You will always sacrifice in an area of performance when it comes to equipment. Aura is a good blade, chipping wont be solved unless you heavily seal the blade edge, it is closer to outer than IFLALC/HALC, but it...
  9. New Stiga Cybershape Aura (!?)

Stiffer with stronger rebound, lower arc and harder feeling. Aura feels and behaves closer to outer fiber blades than IFLALC but the feeling is still petty distinctly inner type. The outer ply is extremely thin, I have already chipped mine in a few places (😭) IMO if you're looking for an...
  10. The Pro's Equipment - Discussion!

Made in Korea, same as the Joola ZQH blades too huh. Might just be a redesign of the ZQH90
  11. The Pro's Equipment - Discussion!

    Is that... Buzz Lightyear?
  12. Xuperman Powerplay-x: A Rubber by Xu Xin

I've never had Xuperman so I can't say. I will highlight that DHS manufactured rubbers tend to have pretty consistent features such as the ridges on the sponge and the cut corners
  13. Xuperman Powerplay-x: A Rubber by Xu Xin

I don't believe Stiga has ever had rubber manufacturing plants, the Chinese manufactured Stiga rubbers like Genesis and Destroyer LP were made by DHS, and their Japanese made rubbers were manufactured by Daiki.
  14. The Pro's Equipment - Discussion!

Saviga V also has quite a distinct stamp pattern, easy to spot the distribution of pimples on the lower part of the rubber
  15. The legend of Hurricane 1

Pretty sure one can still find G555 pretty readily. Must be a reason they kept selling G555 over H1. I think in terms of technology, rubbers like H3-50 and TG3-60 are much more modern than G555, and H8-80 is the most modern backhand style rubber DHS offers outside of the ESN-made Goldarc 8...
  16. Jpen why take back handle cork off

In these photos looks like no cork to me:
  17. Getting smoke smell out of a bat

I've read that at least for getting the tobacco smoke smell out of cars, theres no better method than ozone treatment
