  1. Spinlord Nashorn review

  2. REVspin site؟

In my opinion, it is going to be very hit and miss since many different people contribute to the database. Things to contemplate: - players use the grading scale differently - players understand terms like hardness, stiffness, and gears differently - players have different testing experiences...
  3. Boosters for Chinese rubbers

Here are the videos behind the TT11 booster test that was referenced elsewhere in the answers. Part 1: https://youtu.be/JOHW215rK20 Part 2: https://youtu.be/g7aQh9hOaDU Part 3: https://youtu.be/EBrYM9_y0yY Hope you find it helpful, TPP
  4. Spinlord Wyvern review

Enjoy this Spinlord Wyvern review !!
  5. Booster mega test

Absolutely. An objective, fully experimental approach would be preferable. This would require investments in proper equipment and a permanent venue to set up the experiments (think Mythbusters). Also, it needs to be worthwhile the video creators time. The earnings from a small YT channel are...
  6. Booster mega test

Hey - I have tested six different boosters against a negative control (unboosted H3) as part of an article that I have written for Tabletennis11.com (link to the article will be provided when it publishes). Until then, you can get the highlights from this test in this two-part video series...
  7. Besides table tennis, what hobbies/sports do you do in your free time?

Mushroom-hunting, fishing, hiking, mountain-biking, investing, US politics, Formula 1, LOTR, watching TV cult-series...so many things, so little time
  8. Testing the Tibhar Bernadette Szocs Signature 1

Yeah, TTgearlab makes the case that it is very similar to the Force Pro Black Edition. To me, the two feel different - not dramatically but still noticeably different (significantly more than simple blade-to-blade variations - I have six SFPBE blades)
  9. Testing the Tibhar Bernadette Szocs Signature 1

Thanks - means a lot coming from you.I must, sheepishly, admit that the thought never crossed my mind, but you might be right. I have never tried the 'regular' Force Pro (or CCA7)
  10. Testing the Tibhar Bernadette Szocs Signature 1

Thanks. I haven't tried the Dyjas UP yet so cannot comment. P
  11. Why are rubbers so expensive?

Because there is demand for it. Price of Dignics 09 = price of a high-quality snow tire for a medium-sized car. If consumers stopped purchasing expensive rubbers and only bought the inexpensive ones, companies would catch on.
  12. STIGA’s Most Sold Blade | Clipper Wood Review

I am glad you guys recognize the value of 7-ply all-wood blades :) I have been advocating for their value (and reviewing them) for the past couple of years. Nice review.
  13. Blades for short pimples

Yeah, as mentioned: Stiffness/hardness for BH pips, flexibility for FH loops. My favorites - after sampling 30+ 7-ply blades: Samsonov Force Pro Black Edition, Stiga Rosewood NCT VII, Andro Gauzy SL, Andro Gauzy BL, and my current favorite....which I will reveal in an upcoming video review :)
  14. Most Requested Table Tennis Review Ever | Rakza 7

As a scientist, I would also prefer to measure/quantify characteristics of rubbers and blades. There are clearly some ways that could be done, BUT it would require expensive technical equipment plus a lot of time spent. In the end, who will pay for that? As it is, none of us who review...
  15. Skyline v. Hurricane

    Thanks for the shoutout !!
  16. Spinlord Waran II

There is a little bit of sink effect. Enough that opponent's need to make slight adjustments but not enough to be truly disruptive. I've posted full written details on my website if you are interested.
  17. Spinlord Waran II

BTW - as mentioned in my full written review, apart for a little bit of chipping around the edges where I make contact with the table, the Waran II playing characteristics do not change appreciably with time in my opinion. I have sheets that are ~2 years or more old and they are just fine...
