  1. Post your latest EJ purchase

It's served ;) I've no idea if all Rxton 7 versions come with a glue layer like H3N. H3N BS also surprised me with quite a dome straight from the package. Blade: Rxton 5 Pro Provincial (outer carbon), 89g, 1308 Hz
  2. Thinking of upgrading

There's basically zero difference in spin between a slow and a fast blade 1) 2) Tiefenbacher and Durey measured a difference of around 2% between a slow defensive and a 1-ply hinoki blade 1). The most important factor for spin is the rubber and of course technique. And as Tyce said: I can focus...
  3. I want to buy A DHS Hurricane 3 Blue Sponge from tabletennis11

Page 84: "What's the difference between NEO rubber and organic rubber? Can NEO rubber use organic glue? The difference between NEO rubber and non-NEO rubber lies in the strengthening treatment of the sponge, not the organic or inorganic glue used when gluing the racket. Because NEO rubber...
  4. tried out a clubmembers setup and now i am a bit confused

Not necessarily. Primorac, Korbel and TSPW share the same construction. Korbel and TSPW being the faster ones but both have larger heads than Primorac. Combined with heavier FastArcs the TSPW can feel slower than a lighter (Primorac + Glayzer) setup that can be accelerated faster.
  5. Palio Legend 3 - what wood composition is that? koto?

Maybe ask Sergio / @hipnotic from https://www.sdcttblades.com/ to build a custom version.
  6. Good FH rubbers for YEO

Thickness is the easiest to answer: when boosting at most 2.15 mm. It's still possible to get the rubber including glue layer to over 4 mm but less likely than with a 2.2 mm sponge. Hardness: depends... According to DHS (from page 84 "Handbook of DHS T.T. Products(in Chinese language)"...

I do that too and sometimes in doubles... We could swap rubbers ;) My H3N 37 with two layers Seamoon 2 sounds great but became too soft. The previous 38 OS was better. Currently I'm using Battle 3 38 with two layers initially and one additional layer after around two weeks (swapped from a...
  8. Is it possible to identify this H3 rubber?

It is either very old (no approval code 24-108) or not a Hurricane 3... The only logo design that is similar to this one is from a Skyline 2 https://equipment.ittf.com/#/equipment_preview/racket_coverings/2084
  9. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

Rxton 7 review in German (auto translated subtitles are okay). Reviewer has nearly 1900 TTR and likes the R7.
  10. I need a clear answer, when receiving, when does the ball has LESS spin? Off the bounce? Or after it reached its apex?

Some data for topspin balls (not serves) showing this can be found in: Speed and spin differences between the old celluloid versus new plastic table tennis balls and the effect on the kinematic responses of elite versus sub-elite players...
  11. Hurricane 3 or Hurricane 3 Neo

I forgot that DHS put their Handbook of DHS T.T. Products online... https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1xss4XdArxyhyyifUyy3y2tzR3AC6zGlT Page 84 "What's the difference between NEO rubber and organic rubber? Can NEO rubber use organic glue? The difference between NEO rubber and non-NEO...

Aren't there any Li-Ning stores in your country? Li-Ning (once) partially owned DHS 1) and started selling DHS rubbers and blades not so long ago in Europe. Maybe they can get rubbers and blades in your country too. 1) https://doc.irasia.com/listco/hk/lining/press/p071115.pdf
  13. Hurricane 3 or Hurricane 3 Neo

Organic as in VOC (volatile organic compounds) as in speed glue. Inorganic Neo was released after speed glue ban.
  14. considering yinhe v-14 pro

How heavy is your Pro01? Before trying something new I would get a heavier one (if one likes heavy blades and it's not already weighing say 95g). 5g to 10g more weight make a good difference. If you like something faster with a thick handle: 729 Blue Advance. Some say it's more a SALC than an...
  15. Butterfly Zyre 03

    89.90 Euros https://de.butterfly.tt/zyre-03.html
  16. Two questions bordering the ethical approach to competitive table tennis

A1: Depends how these serves are handled generally. Usually (in Germany) no one calls these serves in the lower leagues because not very many do legal serves (e.g. let the ball fall instead of throwing it up) and a lot of older players continue to use serves from a time when these were legal...
  17. Fan Zhendong is joining 1. FC Saarbrücken next season

There is a list with all the equipment used in this league https://dttb.click-tt.de/cgi-bin/WebObjects/nuLigaDokumentTTDE.woa/wa/nuDokument?dokument=TeamMaterialsFOP&group=493079 Tables: Tibhar, Joola, Andro, Butterfly, Sponeta (manufactures for Andro afair), Donic, Victas Balls: Joola Prime...

  19. Butterfly Zyre 03

13000 Yen excl. VAT directly from Butterfly https://www.butterfly.shop/category/IN/06140.html vs 9500 Yen excl. VAT for a D09C https://www.butterfly.shop/category/IN/06070.html If they keep that ratio than Z03 would cost 109.90 Euro in Germany (D09C 79.90 Euro incl. VAT * 1.36842 = 109.3368)...
  20. Going from inner to outer carbon blade?

In this case I would stay with DHS and get a TG506A or TG506X. Handle, head size, and balance should be closer to the H301 than the Butterfly blades. Another advantage: there are cheaper versions (PG6A and PG6X) and there's an upgrade Hurricane Long 5A...
