  1. Loki adc special vs dhs w968

My Loki ADC feels hard as a rock. The arc it produces is much lower than the DHS W968, and it has almost no feeling at all. I threw it back into the box after just a few test sessions.
  2. Big Upset with W968 Golden Grand Slam Version

From the way you describe it, your playing style is similar to Ma Long and the older generation of players, so using the DHS Hurricane Long 5 is absolutely the right choice. I also agree that Butterfly Viscaria lacks control and stability, but that was only when I was at a lower level. As my...
  3. I wasted 12 years of my life trying to play table tennis

Maybe this guy doesn’t suffer from the EJ syndrome — buying table tennis equipment impulsively like I do — so he finds table tennis meaningless now :D
  4. Big Upset with W968 Golden Grand Slam Version

You are one of the lucky people here. And maybe your rubber replacement process is very careful, and you also use good glue. But not everyone is like that. I agree that the Q and W series are excellent for a forehand topspin-oriented game, with a high arc and heavy spin, but they are not...
  5. Big Upset with W968 Golden Grand Slam Version

All DHS blades are like that — extremely poor quality regardless of the price range, or whether the outer ply is Limba or Koto: Q968, FangBo B2X, 301X, King ACB... The issue becomes slightly better when I use Yasaka NORISUKE glue.
  6. Playing too much backhand in matches

I also use my backhand even on the forehand side of the table, but that’s mainly because my backhand technique is better, and I’m comfortable with that. If you have a good backhand technique, why not?
  7. Need some insight in Fang Bo B2X

I haven’t played with Yinhe blades, so I can’t really give you advice on them. But personally, I would never seriously consider blades from Yinhe, Loki, or similar brands. To me, only Butterfly and DHS have truly unique characteristics that are worth paying for, while most other brands are...
  8. Need some insight in Fang Bo B2X

I’ve read through your questions/comments, and here’s my summary to help you decide: DHS handles are usually designed for the smaller hands of Asian players. However, I find the Fangbo B2X handle noticeably thicker than most other DHS blades, so I think European players should still be able to...
  9. Need some insight in Fang Bo B2X

I don’t know how your Palio blade is, but the Fangbo B2X has a handle that is slightly thicker than the Viscaria and a bit smaller than the Fan ALC. It has a rounded DHS-style handle rather than the more rectangular Butterfly-style one.
  10. Feedback on backhand topspin

During practice, I find that the more I twist my wrist, the more spin I can generate and the easier it is to clear the net. However, my coach told me that in real matches, the speed is very fast, and I won’t have enough time to prepare and use that much wrist. Simply pointing the tip of the...
  11. Feedback on backhand topspin

I’m mainly a backhand-oriented player. I think you should raise your elbow a little and point the tip of the racket toward your body by adjusting your wrist. At the same time, stay relaxed while waiting for the ball and then accelerate suddenly. The power will come from two things: raising your...
  12. Help to Choose a Carbon Blade ( Preferrably Butterfly)

Could you describe your playing style a bit? I’ve used many blades from Butterfly, and I feel that each one suits a different playing style.
  13. My Butterfly Dignics 09C Review: Why I think that most amateur players should avoid it

I don’t think it’s entirely like that. I also consider myself an amateur player, and I switched from tensor rubbers (T05, T80, T19, D05, etc.) to Dignics 09C on both sides. I feel that my attacking power has decreased a little, but my consistency has improved, and my backhand flick has become...
  14. W968 vs Golden Viscaria

Exactly — there is no blade that gives a better backhand than the Viscaria. I own both a Q968 and a Viscaria, and I’m a backhand-oriented player. Whenever I face a tough opponent and need my backhand to win the match, I have to use the Viscaria.
  15. Backhand modern weight transfer technique: loading on dominant leg. What do you think or prefer?

Play me once and you’ll understand my deadly backhand loop haha
  16. Rubbers for Innerforce ALC

It depends on whether you can generate power effectively or not. I have a similar playing style to yours, staying about 2–3 meters away from the table. I call it a mid-distance playing style. My attacking power is only above average within my club, but I still feel very comfortable playing at...
  17. Rubbers for Innerforce ALC

I’m also using an inner-layer blade structure. Currently, I use Dignics 09C on both sides, so you can use that as a reference.
  18. Slower FH rubber

“Just a warning for the author: when you remove the Vega X from your racket, you need to glue it onto another immediately; otherwise, it will shrink after just a few days.”
  19. Q968 compared to Fan Zhendong ALC and Innerforce ZLC

In my country, we don't buy table tennis equipment via commercial online platforms. We often buy them in the local store (of some favorite players), and We can know the actual weight after removing the plastic film, the wood quality of the blade, ... We also prefer blades that are manufactured...
  20. Slower FH rubber

In my opinion (also some players in my club & my coach in the national team), vegaX is slower than Ten05(I think 80% of Ten05), and its sensitivity to spin is also much lower compared to Ten05. I remember some infor has already published by racketinsight or somewhere. I think our perspectives on...
