  1. Yinhe Big Dipper 5 40. Boost or no boost

I'm not sure the added weight of booster is something to worry about. Sure, booster will add some weight initially. But only a few grams. Then it dries and a small portion evaporates loosing some weight. Then you glue on your blade and cut off the overhang of expanded rubber. What you cut off...
  2. Yinhe Big Dipper 5 40. Boost or no boost

If you're used to boosted feel. You may as well boost. With rubber I haven't tried before I normally like to play first without. Then boost and reglue. In most cases it's better boosted. Not necessarily for spin or speed but always better feedback and feeling for the ball in my hand.
  3. Yinhe Big Dipper 5 40. Boost or no boost

I'm making a semi-educated guess here based on my previous experiences with other Yinhe rubber. If you don't normally boost your rubbers my guess it this one will be fine without as well. I say this based the following. I used big dipper 4, H40 unboosted and it worked fine for me. I think...
  4. Xiom new collection (2026)

I'm really looking forward to those new Tau rubbers. The Tau series has always been somewhat elusive in Europe and pretty much non-existent in UK. I have asked a UK distributor though and they told me they'll be stocking the 55 and 57 degree in black only when available. Will have to go...
  5. Past Innerforce users - what did you move to and why?

I wonder if your issue isn't with the blade at all. G1 is a great rubber. Something that makes it stand out and I don't think people talk much about, is it has a much later catapult effect than most other rubbers, which takes some getting used to. It plays with great control softly at the...
  6. Hurricane 3 Neo Commercial 37 Degrees Red

Not quite the same, but I'm certain will have similarities. Try Yinhe Jupiter 3 Asia H37. Loads of AliExpress stores stock it is much cheaper than H3N commercial if price is a big concern.
  7. Xiom new collection (2026)

Looks amazing. Are you able to measure handle width with calipers and share? It looks quite slim in the concave where handle meets wings. Curious as to whether the handle is same or similar dimensions to my Hugo TMXi Cheers
  8. Is there such a big difference between all of the versions of DHS Hurricane 3?

Whenever anyone asks or shares opinions about H3 and most other tacky rubbers, more often than not they ignore a super important factor. The sponge hardness! Get commercial and find out which hardness suits you best. For FH I would personally start at H40. It takes a few sessions to break in...
  9. Any recommendations on XIOM equipment

XIOM fan boy here. Blades I can talk about. I have the 36.5 ALXi which was my main blade for about 2 years. Can't say whether it is similar to an ML5, but I find it has really precise ball feel, low vibration and very deep hold sensation on heavy spin shots. Very linear, you get out what put...
  10. Tennis vs Running Shoes

I would use the tennis shoes. Short and simple reason being they are "tennis" shoes and they're designed for similar movements as TT. Longer thoughts being those running shoes look like they are a mesh woven material and don't have lateral support. So you might find yourself ripping through...
  11. Are players in Europe (US as well) interested in lesser-known Chinese rubbers?

I would definitely like to see a wider variety of Chinese rubber options in Europe/UK. I'm In UK and my go to favourite FH rubber so far is Battle 2 pro H40. Yinhe Jupiter 3 Asia H41 A very close 2nd A handful of stores stock B2 pro but the 2 problems I observe with UK stockists of Chinese...
  12. XIOM C55 Impressions and Comparison with H3N

Do they have a website and international shipping? I want MAX rubber! 😅
  13. XIOM C55 Impressions and Comparison with H3N

Where did you order from? Europeans dealers are only stocking 2.1mm
  14. XIOM C55 Impressions and Comparison with H3N

Are you experiencing any significant performance differences at this point, or are you commenting only on cosmetic changes? Both with 09C and C55.
  15. What blade is best for someone more forehand oriented?

Party pooping time! No such thing. Practice and exercise until you are stronger than Gozo Aruna max power smash and all blades will be a deadly weapon on both sides
  16. REvolution no.3 Cleaner

I've used rev3 cleaner for nearly 3 years now. In that time only bought 1 bottle so it lasts a long time using a few drops per clean. In my experience it works just fine on both tacky and non-tacky rubbers. Certainly a more straightforward experience on non tacky rubbers though. Drop on, wipe...
  17. SDC Handmade Blades

I entirely agree with this, but I don't think you've followed my example as I meant it. Of course the electronics and the chosen amplification and effects make differences. However what I'm suggesting in guitar example is that when using the same amp and effects but changing a wooden material...
  18. SDC Handmade Blades

Before I got into table tennis I spent many years geeking out over details in electric guitars and their materials/construction. In that time I've developed the strong opinion that guitar people are dorks! 🤣 Because so many of them believe 1 wood is capable of this or that sound and another...
  19. Good FH rubbers for YEO

Stick with J3 Asia but get H41 for FH. Stay close to table and practice spinning hard open ups and countering any topspins that come back with early timing off the bounce. Its where that rubber really shines.
  20. Any European rubbers that can replace Hurricane?

Wow, they must be good if you need to strap in! 😂
