  1. Information about DHS Hurricane Long 5/my path to switching to shakehand.

Hi I got the bat today, and now feeling it I’m in a dilemma. Turns out, the red rubber is is forehand and black on backhand. I intend to replace the tin arc for Sanwei target National, but the red rubber is really really hard and tacky. Likely 41, as it’s harder than the one on my current bat...
  2. Choosing Blades and Rubbers for a Beginner Table Tennis Player

I used my pe teachers bat, a xiom jpen, and he had Rakza 7 on forehand. Anyways, I could barely hit onto the table due to the high throw angle, but the catapult is nice. I’ve tried mark v before, and I found that Rakza seems better for forehand. Maybe because I like heavier and powerful loops...
  3. Choosing Blades and Rubbers for a Beginner Table Tennis Player

That’s a lot of choices, would it be better to stick to a brand? If the Blade is established at Yasaka Sweden Extra, I think just try Rakza 7 forehand and Mark V backhand. Maybe 2.0 on both sides is good enough.

  5. Post your latest EJ purchase

DHS Long 5 (used, rather old from 2018) for $45. Rubbers are a rather odd Red DHS H3 NEO and DHS Tin Arc 3. Too soft for any to be forehand so will pull tin arc (black) out to put Sanwei Target National 3, 40 degrees 2.15mm. Will save and to get it likely at 1010 sales, once I finish my exams

  10. Information about DHS Hurricane Long 5/my path to switching to shakehand.

Hello, So, with the recent purchase of a DHS Long 5 (cause $45 used for very good condition is too good to miss) I found myself wondering how does Long 5 feel. I am no means a through and through good player, but mostly hobby and I have a passion for it. As a current user of 1 ply hinoki jpen...

    Thank you.
  12. 2024 Sanwei Target 3 National

I noticed that there is no red rubber Sanwei Target 3 National, it is named differently, although it’s just softer sponge. Hence I doubt they will make such a soft forehand rubber, especially since it is basically universal that red is backhand black is forehand (except some European and...

And I think injuries cause it must be really straining on the body. Like Xu Xin.
  15. Best forehand

Same. Just wondering what are the thoughts about Fang Bo. I find his forehand really good too. I have been watching a lot of his tutorials on my path to switch to shake hand. And for the current WTT players, I’ll say Wang Chuqin. Good to see him back at #1. I have to say tho that Ma Longs...
  16. What table tennis rubbers & blade do you use?

I’m quite an amateur, and I don’t have booster but I use VOC glue which may work. Oh and I’m not playing competitions to no worries. I looked up at the prices and just for standard blue sponge hurricane its already out of my budget. $70 for one rubber is a bit too much. Is it viable to use...
  17. What table tennis rubbers & blade do you use?

It’s $45 with rubbers. He use to play table tennis in primary school and doesn’t play anymore. I think he’s kinda spoilt kid or thing. I asked him about his bat one day and he said he wanna sell. Seeing the bat i thought that it would be in the 200s, but he doesn’t know value. He said he wants...
