  1. My personal experience with SANWEI NOVA Carbon, and some tips on how to use this blade.

I'm using Gear Hyper at the moment, and it's my favourite rubber. When you changed to Target National, did you need to change the technique much? How's the adjustment period like?

  3. stiga allround classic vs sanwei echo

I highly recommend Sanwei Gear Hyper. It's my favourite rubber. Got it in blue.
  4. Beginner JPen blades - what's the YSE of JPens?

I recommend Sanwei SU type. They have different models with different composition. Mine is Sanwei SU Froster, which is the ALC carbon. It's so comfortable to hold.
  5. Beginner JPen blades - what's the YSE of JPens?

Butterfly Garaydia Revolver is quite controllable. It's slower than 1 ply hinoki.
  6. First Short Pips FH suggestion

Thanks. I do prefer linear rubbers even for inverted rubbers. If it's spinny, wouldn't it be similar to inverted?
  7. First Short Pips FH suggestion

Would you recommend the same rubber for 1 ply hinoki jpen? I'm using 802 Mystery III at the moment.
  8. Good blade for penhold short pips hitter

    Any updates?
  9. Proper penhold grip

Agree. That was my setup too, but reversible jpen. So I actually twiddle to use the LP, and don't use RPB much. Recently I just found this very interesting blade from Sanwei called SU. It's like the combination of jpen and cpen. Very weird looking blade. I quite like it so far. I still use LP...
  10. Gluing OX rubbers

You can put multiple layers of tapes on the pimples side to make it hard like sponged rubber. Then you can proceed to glue it like you would for inverted rubber. Then remove the tape.
  11. Jpen TPB tips

It's interesting that you use LP at the BH side and use RPB. Mind telling me how you usually do that? Typically people use inverted for RPB because they want to produce the spin. I'm putting LP on my BH too because double inverted setup is just too heavy for me. I like light setup. So I'm...
  12. 1-ply Hinoki with sticky rubber?

I think if you have problem controlling one ply hinoki blade, slow tacky rubber is a great option. My main blade is twiddling/reversible jpenholder (Butterfly Garaydia Revolver). I always wanted to use a traditional one ply hinoki jpenholder, so I got myself Butterfly Cypress Tmax. Tmax is...
  13. 1-ply Hinoki with sticky rubber?

My secondary blade is Butterfly Cypress Tmax. I tried a few different rubbers. If Dignics 09c is still too fast for you, I would suggest Grayzer 09c. It works really well on my Cypress, actually the only rubber that works well for me so far. I haven't tried Dignics 09c though. Edit: After using...
