  1. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

rxton 9 is pretty hard to play even with booster. but easier to play then hurricane 3 boosted. i only need one layer for rxton 9 while i need two for hurricane. nothing for beginners and even intermediate. you need to have a solid form and footwork to get the best out of it
  2. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

the red version is the provincial version and has a more porous sponge. for me it played a bit boring compared to the normal national version in 39 or 41. less of everything
  3. Butterfly A. Mazunov V

one of the fastest 5ply blades back in the days, so in this case overkill for a charity. i would give it to a young tabletennisplayer too :)
  4. Kindly suggest best blade for Wheelchair Para Table Tennis player

if you play close to the table in a wheelchair it makes total sense to have a blade that has a good basic speed but is not too hard in the higher gears. so a fast flexible blade would be the best. stiga allround classic and timber 5 ALL are way too slow, especially combined with rakza 7 soft...
  5. What to do when opponent keeps blocking to Backhand

block/drive to their FH. at one point they will play to you FH or middle and you are ready for that
  6. Stay away from European rubber because they are fragile

never had this problem with esn too, only had it once back when i played with butterfly rubbers. they crumble on the edges if you chop short. anyway you mostly wouldn’t play them long enough that it would create any real problem
  7. New BH rubber

who wrote joola tronix line or tenergy 19? those rubbers are not in the mentioned list so why bother? hammond z2 is way harder and faster then hybrid mk and mx-s (53 vs 47)
  8. New BH rubber

i think you misread the answers, you need a soft topsheet and not a soft sponge
  9. New BH rubber

tibhar mx-s is a very grippy rubber with a soft topsheet that makes it easier to receive heavy spin and pretty easy to flick but has enough bounce to kill a ball and a deadly flight curve. i think this would fit way better than switching to short pips that is difficult to truly master tibhar...
  10. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

i would not read to much into this test, they are sponsored and clearly paid by some person that has an unofficial loki website and sell the rubbers for double/tripple the price on aliexpress in europe to make a dime out of it. loki official made an instagram post and called to avoid this...
  11. Tibhar Evolution low throw angle?

but this has more to do with technique. evolution rubbers are very fast and dynamic even for modern standards, so if your acceleration is not good enough you can't get enough grip on the rubber for it to create an arc before it bounces of your blade and what you get is just speed without spin...
  12. Tibhar Evolution low throw angle?

mx-p is not low, it is actually high compared to modern rubbers, but you need to have good technique to create the arc. it is no wonder why pros use it as an alternative for tenergy/dignics 05
  13. Do you prepare more than one racket for league matches / tournaments?

i have two identical bats that i change depending on location i play in. even though they are the same model and weight one of them is a bit more bouncy and the other one has a bit more power. nothing major but usefull when either venue is big or small, if the table is stop or slip, or if they...
  14. Any blades still in production similar to Xiom Hugo HAL or Butterfly Moonbeam?

i don’t known where you coming from… you can find any xiom blade +-7 g from the designated weight on the website and this is pretty normal for every factory including butterfly. my teammate plays a viscaria with 78g and he ordered from the website without any wishes. the first HAL I tried in a...
  15. Any blades still in production similar to Xiom Hugo HAL or Butterfly Moonbeam?

i took the opportunity and bought myself a third one too. i can confirm the findings of daniel: the newer version is different then my other two older batches. the old ones had dark limba as medialply and the new one look different but might still be limba. the new one has a way rougher finish...
  16. Video about TT ratings

i didn‘t watched the video but serve and receive is not the most difficult part for over 2000ttrs. but it is definitely for amateurs and maybe early intermediate… anything above you mostly play long enough that you know how to deal with all the different spins and the most important part is...
  17. Any blades still in production similar to Xiom Hugo HAL or Butterfly Moonbeam?

looks different then the original ones. new colorcover, the jtta stamp is now on the side instead of the handleface and the grain of the koto outer do not look as fine as the two of mine
  18. i dont think chinese rubbers do most people any favours

depends on your game too. if you play an allround offensive game and are not coached then yes a tensor is easier to play, easier to activate power, easier to create spin and arc and easier to get the offensive balls on the table. they have their downsides for shure! but they mostly don't matter...
  19. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

didn't have any smell and felt quite hard for 39. there was no factory glue layer too. i boosted it with 2 layers like my 'country' rxton 9 39 and will compare. both on xiom hal
  20. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

the answer came from the vendor: they send me the provincial version instead of the country version whatever that means
