  1. Best Rubber for Andro Treiber CO off/s

Not necessarily, but it´s not categorically wrong either, depending on the blade and the choice of rubbers. I think for players wishing to develop their game the old and slow allround blades are not an ideal starting point anymore. The game and the materials have evolved and I think that there...
  2. Best Rubber for Andro Treiber CO off/s

That´s true. I´m also often puzzled by questions about the best "backhand rubber". "Depends on your backhand" would be my answer...
  3. Best Rubber for Andro Treiber CO off/s

And no-one should anymore ;-) In this case, I think the Hammond is a bit too much and the Good a bit too less for developing both wings. andro GTT 45 should produce enough power and be soft enough for the blade. It´s a good rubber for beginners and learners. andro Hexer Duro is even softer...

But that´s the whole point. And it makes some reviews pointless, if you don´t look closely. If someone finds it easier to generate spin with a soft rubber than a hard one, it doesn´t mean the soft rubber has more spin or spin potential, for that matter. As for andro´s testing, I am pretty sure...

  6. Tibhar K3 durability and alternatives

Too far out they might not be, but the complaints about very poor durability are mostly heard from K3 users. Maybe there are just more K3 users than players with other "same generation" ESN hybrids, maybe justified by a superior performance fresh out of the package. But also maybe that superior...

In case you were wondering how to pronounce the name, New Zone it is. https://www.andro.de/en/nuzn-data-driven-performance
  8. Tibhar K3 durability and alternatives

Several similar experiences over here, all from pros and semi-pros. They seem to wear out this rubber quickly, understandably on most amateur levels it would last longer (in weeks) since the hours of usage are less in a week. Years ago, when the cry for pro material for everyone seemed loud...
  9. Andro Nuzn 50 and 55

Two more evenings of practice before the school holidays confirmed that NUZN 50 and SYNTELIAC ZCI is the perfect fit for me. One thing is the touch of the blade, I tried a new model from Joola recently and thought "Oh, cool" - but the same rubbers on the ZCI are "Oh, YEAH!" And the NUZN is just...
  10. How does the German League do it?

Bad Königshofen has reached the playoff stage for the very first time, that probably adds to the enthusiasm of the home crowd.
  11. Andro Nuzn 50 and 55

Yes, especially when you are happy with the C48 in your profile the NUZN 50 might offer you even more performance, stability and precision and it will not be more difficult to play despite the harder sponge. But like I said, I only posted my first impressions and I currently do not have any...
  12. Andro Nuzn 50 and 55

A few impressions of NUZN 50 after roughly two hours of practice over two evenings. To me the rubber is somewhere in between C53 and R53. The "hybrid" feeling in touch game (reduced catapult) is present, but it is easier to accelerate this rubber than other hybrids I tried. I have no current...

Like I wrote above, the distinction between extremely grippy and slightly sticky is hard for me. Where´s the line? Sometimes it feels like the discussion if a blade is "still" ALL+ or "already" OFF-, and people getting really heated about it. So better wait for someone who dares make the point...
  14. Andro Nuzn 50 and 55

Yes, but in the case of NUZN the foil itself is sticky and would stick to any rubber. Maybe it´s a nuance in the small margin between extremely grippy and slightly sticky, but my expertise on that is questionable ;-)
  15. Andro Nuzn 50 and 55

Once I´ve tried it a few times, sure.
  16. Andro Nuzn 50 and 55

Probably a little more to the C Rasanter side, but I´ve often seen the discussions about what is sticky and what is tacky and how people disagree. I tried to lift up a ball when I´d just removed the plastic protective foil that comes with it, and it didn´t stick to the rubber.
  17. Andro Nuzn 50 and 55

Who knows anymore... With the first hybrids, it was all tacky topsheet and "tensor" sponge (as to emulate Chinese rubber with booster...) Nowadays it is about "Chinese" pimple structure and rubbers are called hybrid without being tacky, and some non-tacky rubbers have Hybrid in their name.
  18. Andro Nuzn 50 and 55

If that happens to be true the price might be relatively fair. At least reports from users of other hybrid rubbers who say detoriation sets in as early as after a week of playing surely make this a property to be inspected. Bear in mind that the questions still are "do i need such rubber for my...
