I’m playing with Hybrid MK FX on BH now. It’s on s new blade but together with a 7 ply all ayous blade the throw is low. The Vega Euro was onna different blade a Darker 7p-2a. There it had a higher throw. But soft rubbers usually throw high… Cheers L-zr

It’s waaay better than Vega Europe. It make Vega Europe feel like mashed potatoes. It’s fairly light too… Cheers L-zr

You should try boosting it’s sooo easy and on top of this it’s a game changer…. One you done it on an H3 you will never go back… Cheers L-zr

OK, you mean max thickness… But I would never boost a Rakza 7. I think you ruin it by boosting. It’s plenty soft and bouncy as is… Cheers L-zr

If you want a blade with a good feel, I find an outer with a spruce top really does it… My favorite being Nittaku S-CZ. The draw back being the top is fragile, gotta be careful when changing rubbers and don’t bang it too much in the table. Also this particular blade is a bit on the slow side…...

Both, I think the best way is when you can think and not just always react instinctively… Often there is not time though and then it’s better to have a good instinct… Cheers L-zr

All the blades I mentioned are Japanese KISO hinoki…

Not really. Just bought a Darker speed 90, and before that a Darker imperial hinoki, before this two Nittaku miyabi’s. Tabletennis11 still has them Nittaku septear too… Cheers L-zr

I can compare Z2 with T05 and I can tell Z2 is several classes below… It feels like a 45* rubber but is claimed to be 50… Spin is very moderate. Less catapult and speed than T05. I find Tibhar hybrid MK a much better choice. Haven’t tried any Nexy’s yet… Cheers L-zr

I agree, it’s a great tool to have in the toolbox. I think one of the clues to judge serves is to be able to perform them. I will definitely try this approach. My serves are at best very conventional… Cheers L-zr

The weight is a drawback with the Basalts. I got two inners, One at 81g and one at 87g. I played the har avier and it felt great but the S-CZ (All nittakus by Soulspin) felt better (in my opinion). I finally decided that both of these blades had too puny handles and went for a blade with an LG...

It also may make the blade harder and stiffer. It depends on the composite material. But for sure a big reason is the sweet spot but not only this… The S-CZ is both soft an flexy and has a better (my personal opinion) feel than the Ma long 7. But the Ma long 7 is more deadly. Cheers L-zr

Absolutely… I just switched from 2+5 outer, Nittaku S-CZ to an allwood 7 layer all ayous blade, Nittaku Ma long 7 LG. The new blade is significantly faster. I switched for the large handle and I knew it was gonna be faster so I was a little reluctant… But as it turns out it was a great change...
