  5. How do I improve my backhand? (closed)

Is the key snapping the wrist too or going more forward through the ball smoother? If I start with either and it's wrong than I won't do any progress... I'll find it, thanks!

  7. How do I improve my backhand? (closed)

I started when 16 when I quit tennis, maybe it stuck from there, idk. So I should contact the ball later? Should I let it drop or do I just stand closer to it? Do I snap my wrist or practice a smooth wrist?
  8. How do I improve my backhand? (closed)

I've always had a weak bh game, mainly the topspin. I can't get the feeling of gripping like I do on my fh, my strategy was always to block and punch but now that I'm playing on a higher level it's a huge weakness and it's being constantly exploited. The only way I can do a topspin is by...
  9. ITTF Racquet Control Changes for 2025 (...don't shoot the messenger!)

It won't surprise me if they actually do that.
  10. Blade Sealing with Haifu Seamoon?

It's not a boat dude. You'll make the blade stiff as a rock, there's specific sealant made from companies, they're very thin and work well for blades. Boat sealant will ruin the blade. Some people do use haifu for sealing and they swear by it. Haven't tried it.
  11. ITTF Racquet Control Changes for 2025 (...don't shoot the messenger!)

Weird thing to do. At this point they should work with a few companies that make boosters and approve a couple of different models. The reason they were banned in the first place was because there were health concerns, not because they are unfair, everyone could and still can get their hands on...
  12. ITTF Racquet Control Changes for 2025 (...don't shoot the messenger!)

People aren't allowed to lacquer their own blades? Am I understanding this right? What exactly are they trying to achieve?
  13. ITTF Racquet Control Changes for 2025 (...don't shoot the messenger!)

Next they'll be checking their bags for hiding booster, just you wait.
  14. Shoes - good ankle support

Go to an orthopedic, it could be a more serious problem or it could be nothing. We can't know.
  15. Rumour new Butterfly flagship rubber

More like better pricing. 80€ for a single rubber is nuts. If this is closer to 50€ and the rubber is high quality and plays to a high standard, it'll be a smash hit.
  16. ❓What Is Your Setup, and WHY?

Xu Xin was using Intensity for almost a decade until the dynasty carbon came out. He used rosewood nct V for a few years and then made the intensity with the yeo for a basis. Compared to the yeo, the intensity is much lighter, has more flex, is thinner and has the nct technology. It's faster...
  17. ❓What Is Your Setup, and WHY?

It's xu xin's old blade. Stiga Intensity NCT.
  18. ❓What Is Your Setup, and WHY?

Intensity with t05 and bluestorm z3. Blade gives crisp feeling with good control, t05 has stable high arc and good spin and z3 has great control and doesn't bite spin.
  19. Why anti-glanti materials need a friction limitation.

That's what I mean. There's a reason football or soccer as they call it in America, is so popular. It's easy to understand, kick ball to net. Nothing hard about that. Tt is a lot more nuanced with spin and tactics, it's not that simple.
  20. Why anti-glanti materials need a friction limitation.

There's a reason why the main audience of tt are tt players. China is the only exception, but it's like football there, most know at least a bit, enough to understand the game.
