  1. Badgers on Tour!

If you decide to visit Czech Republic, I'd be happy to host you in my area. The thing is, my area is in Morava, the eastern part of CR, and in there, in the east ;-)), cca 300km to the east from Prague, our capitol. In here I'd be able to prepare a friendly match in our club, and second one in...

When doing Falkenberg, the 4 shot variant with 1 BH, when I don't step around properly - when I don't make enough space to hit properly, not only is the shot weaker, but also the balance and recovery is signif. slower and clumsier, and harder to get to the next hit - wide FH. Similarly with the...
  3. Please give me advice on my table tennis posture.

This is a nice slow-mo, I like it. It is not that easy to comment on it, as you can see so far... But you can always try to compare yourself with someone better. E.g. here is a video where ZJK trains a guy... There is couple of points, which also someone told me, so I'm repeating. First is that...
  4. Paris Olympic Games 2024

It's bitter cup to drink... He improved so much in last 1-2 years (at least so I think) and now this... EDIT: But, from the other side... The bitter the cup, the bigger the motivation ;-)
  5. How many layers of booster on the Hurricane 3 BS Provincial?

I agree with that... It's just that people who don't (like) boost could say, if you need easier hit through the rubber, just get the rubber with 1-2 degrees less hardness... So I'd add the tension to the equation... Tension just makes it so much nicer in all active shots (both slow and fast)...
  6. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

Reallyyyy? ... first, ask questions later ;-)
  7. Paris Olympic Games 2024

With all due respect, for balance reasons, you yourself should criticise "your side" for once. You yourself repeatedly come up with critique (direct or indirect) of Russia and China. But I think, if it so happens, that you identify with some "side", and want to criticise, you should criticise...
  8. Beginner blade and rubbers

These are all OK. Also e.g. Donic Persson Powerplay is similarly good. Many options, e.g. from Yasaka: R7 on FH, R7 soft on BH, or from Xiom: Vega Pro or X on FH, Vega Europe on BH. But I'd suggest Nittaku FastArc G1 on FH and FastArc C1 on BH. These are a bit slower than the above mentioned...
  9. Paris Olympic Games 2024

Tony, you're a respected couch but the way you act to zeio is childish. He's doing his thing and you are only attacking him. You'll always be the second one in such interactions. Don't you see? I suggest you do your thing and be the first again. You're better than that. Cheers.

Swyer syndrom, sometimes called XY female. I didn't know about it...
  11. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

I know it's not about TT, but if I had to vote, what is the highest level at his personal peek, then I have to say, probably Andy Murray. You know I love Novak Djokovic, and he is for me the undisputed goat, but if I had to compare these 2 at a single point of their highest level, it would be...
  12. First Hurricane attempt

We're doomed. As soon as we apply the single layer and we recognize the difference, we've crossed the event horizon, the point of no return. Well, assuming the 2nd condition, the feeling of response from the chinesse dense sponge... You see the dilemma, you say don't boost it's fine, but you...
  13. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

I think I tried to express that of course we can speak about diffs. between various chinese dense sponge rubbers, actually it is kind of interesting for me, but we need to be clear that these diffs. in behavior are miniscule in comparison to the differences between these rubbers (chinese dense...
  14. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

From another perspective... Regardless if I use R9, H3, DFVP, STN, it happens regularly that my opponents complain about the SLOWNESS of the rubber, and how it breaks their rhytm, and what a s... that is... and so on... So, it is a set of rubbers, which are similar to each other in this...
  15. Friendship 729 battle 3

I didn't play with R9 H39 (only with H40,5) and I have the BD H38 on Viscaria on the BH, but I don't play with it now. So, with that said, I agree with @Westy, slower on slower impacts, maybe faster or faster impacts. But for me, the diff. in speed really doesn't matter here, both are not really...
  16. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

NL, I know you didn't ask for advice, so please bear with me. I want to mention one point, which is just one point, not necessarily so important, but I think it could help you to improve your FH a bit. And that is the usage of the non-playing hand. Imo, often you don't use your non-playing hand...

Patrick Franciska with his 6'3'' and his fluid athletic movements shows the way and motivates me (6'1").
  18. What brand of TT balls do you prefer?

Double Fish (V40) is to DHS/Joola Prime as Joola Prime is to Joola Flash ;-) Gozo in manly mode... ... ok, the diff. is not that big ;-)
  19. What brand of TT balls do you prefer?

This topic is somewhat actual for me. If I simplify, I think we can say that the most used balls in CR are the Joola Flash and the Joola Prime, and the opinions on the balls can be very very strong. In the higher leagues, the Prime is used and noone uses Flash, whereas in the lower leagues...
