IMO it's best not to sand until later after you've tested the blade a while, cuz it seems easier to sell an unsanded one, esp if u go to town on it. Had to use tape a few times tho lol
Good question, you don't hear about this blade too much, but people used to play it anyway. I'm sure someone may come across this thread who hit with one. Most people aren't going to bother writing a full scale review for every blade they own.
This is an interesting thread. I was in a (basically) jungle environment living and working for a year and it mushed out a blade fairly fast and i did switch to an outer carbon. We were playing in a place with like large open windows and rain blowing in even. Lot of slipping rubber, but still fun.
DIdnt ZJ play with the same old Viscaria for like 7 years? If he can make it last that long, regular dudes with jobs n kids pretty much will never wear a blade out, so maybe hes right.
Has anyone IRL felt that their outer carbon blades degrades faster than their inners? I'm not sensitive enough to tell.
I don't trust Zhang Jike, while, unquestionably, an amazing player, he's sketchy. In addition, he's selling outer carbon blades atm
Fortius version d is really nice. I put d09 fh and d80 bh. I feel like u can do anything u want with this. It's got a soft touch for short game, yet like someone else here said does not lack power at all. Mine is 88 gm and is slightly head heavy. It has a little dry yet soft hinoki feel to it...
