IMO it's best not to sand until later after you've tested the blade a while, cuz it seems easier to sell an unsanded one, esp if u go to town on it. Had to use tape a few times tho lolThere are people who actually leave them stock on purpose? I could have sworn anybody who has that just doesn't know that's a thing.
Penhold, shakehand, you name it. Unsanded wings (at the very least round them) are super uncomfortable.
we have to differentiate between the simple sanding of the sharp edges for comfort and the more drastic sanding , or filing, of the wings which of course will change the characteristics of blade eg. making it more flexible.
