  2. The philosopher’s stone of backhand rubbers

Tenergy 05 FX Donic Acuda S2 Andro Hexer Powergrip SFX Andro Hexer Grip I tried all, and all are my favorites. If you already have good mechanics and can utilize the shot selection window on your backhand through your muscle memory then hands down 05 FX is what you should use. If however, you...

Caste system for what? I don't understand the point.
  4. News from India

There is no role of caste system in this decision. I am from the same state as her and have been a on and off witness since her childhood. She is a very good player and has given her 100% in achieving her goals with the support of her family and coaches mentors. Ultimately, it's her decision as...

  7. “Sealing effects performance”…. Is there any proof?

I have Joola sealant to seal my blades. This is specifically for TT because it is very diluted and creates a thin layer on the blade. The idea as already mentioned above is not to overdo it. I prefer this approach - Seal the blade once, after 3-4 rubber changes do it again.

Nittaku Fastarc C1 Donic Acuda S2 Andro Hexer Powergrip SFX Butterfly Tenergy 05 FX I have played with all of these and currently I use Hexer Powergrip SFX. Amongst all, Tenergy is the most responsive. Acuda S2 will cover most of your mistakes and make your backhand look good. Andro is also...

  12. Fastarc C1 vs Rakza 7

I have played with Fastarc C1 for 2 years on my backhand. It is has construction from the previous generation where the topsheet has thickness and you can feel the firmness in your backhand strokes. I liked it a lot, as it has long life (for me it lasted for 6-7 months on my backhand) and...
  13. fixing the bad habit of straightening the upper body during looping

Some great insights discussed by fellow members. One small thing to add here, did you observe your distance from the table while performing a loop? Sometimes, if you are just a little too close you will get choked on space and would tend to go up. Also try to observe that when do you root...
  14. Upgrading my Nittaku Fastarc G1.

  17. Using a Blade designed for table tennis - Why isn't everyone making the switch!?

Similar to your thoughts, there is a blade series from Donic as well. This series is called DOTEC but I haven't seen anyone using it. Now before you reject it, you should check that DOTEC technology is used to design blades in such a way that it offers more open angle on your backhand. Extending...
  18. Is Donic Vario Cean good glue ??

I used Donic Vario Clean around 10 years ago, if my memory serves me correctly then the bonding between rubber and the blade were good, however, as another post highlights above, it leaves a very sticky residue on the blade and the rubber which is very difficult to get rid off. I had tried the...

Is Karakasevic even playing now? I don't see any new videos of him playing anymore. Or may be I am not looking at the right channels on YouTube.
